ABSTRACT
The
sub-sectors of plantation in Indonesia
has
a very strategic position.
The export commodity that comes from plantation's sub sector is as one of the
export commodities of non-oil and natural
gas,
which has a big
potention in the
foreign exchange. So the plantation's sub-sector has an important part
in
national
development
One of the commodity which is expected to
be
able to give its contribution
for
our
national economy, which is comes from the plantation's sub-sector,
is
vegetable commodity. Vegetable commodity,
as an export commodity of non-oil
and
natural
gas,
has
a significant part
because
of its role, either in national or in
social-economy aspectof society.
North Sumatera, which has pretty large areas and good climate,
has
a big
potention
in producing raw materials as an item of trade export of don-oil and
natural
gas,
and vegetable included
in it Besides, Indonesia, especially North
Sumatera,
has
many advantages that many countries don't have, such as the fertile
land, the good climate, manyworkers withthe
cheap
wages and many others. .
We are all have a big hope
that
the value of vegetable export
can
be
increased every year.
