v ABSTRACT

Yuni Kartika, 2016, Writing English Booklet and Captions at the

Radyapustaka Museum, English Diploma Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Sebelas Maret University.

This report describes the activities that I did during my internship program, at the Radyapustaka Museum for one month, from the 13th of January 2016 to 13th of February 2016. There were two main activities that I conducted. The first activity was writing a booklet. The booklet contains descriptions of Wayang (puppet) collections in the middle room of Radyapustaka Museum. The second activity was writing captions of the ancient objects. During conducting my activities, I faced some problems such as problem in translating unfamiliar words and terms, choosing correct diction, and writing sentences with correct grammar. To solve those problems, I had discussion with my friends and supervisor. Besides, I asked my lecturers to check my works.
