BERAT KERING DAN KONSENTRASI LEMAK HATI PUYUH (Cortunix cortunix japonica) FASE LAYER YANG DIPAPAR GLUKOSA

Penelitian mengenai berat kering hati dan konsentrasi lemak hati puyuh (Cortunix cortunix japonica) yang dipapar glukosa telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan Februari 2013, di kandang unggas dan analisis di Laboratorium Fisiologi Ternak dan Biokimia, Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Padjadjaran. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian glukosa terhadap berat kering dan konsentrasi lemak hati puyuh. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental, Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 macam perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah mencekok puyuh dengan level glukosa, yaitu P0 : (Kontrol) ; P1 : 5 g; P2 : 10 g; dan P3 : 15 g. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa pemberian glukosa berpengaruh terhadap penurunan berat kering dan konsentrasi lemak hati puyuh fase layer (P1 = 1,53 g, 51,31%) ; (P2 = 1,25 g, 37,92%) ; (P3 = 0,85 g, 28,216%).

DRY WEIGHT AND LIVER FAT CONCENTRATION OF LAYING QUAIL (Cortunix cortunix japonica) ADMINISTERED GLUCOSE

Studies about dry weight and liver fat concentrations of quail (Cortunix cortunix japonica) administered glucose had been conducted in January to February 2013, at the Poultry Cage and had been analyzed at the laboratory of Animals Physiology and Biochemistry Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Padjadjaran University. This study was purposed to find out the influence of the provision of glucose on dry weight and concentrations of liver fat of laying quails. Research used experimental methods, a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was applied with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment was given orally with glucose level, they were: P1 (without treatment); 5g; P2: 10g; and P3: 15 g. Based on the results of the statistical analysis showed that the provision of glucose affected to decrease of dry weight and concentrations of liver fat of laying quails (P1 = 1,53 g, 51,31%) ; (P2 = 1,25 g, 37,92%) ; (P3 = 0,85 g, 28,216%).
