2. Cara pembuatan suspensi ekstrak etanol daun kelor
Ditimbang 300, 450, 600 dan 750 mg ekstrak etanol daun kelor, digerus dalam lumpang. Kemudian ditambahkan sedikit larutan CMC 0,5% digerus sampai homogen. Dituang kedalam labu tentukur 10 ml, kemudian dicukupkan volumenya dengan larutan CMC 0,5% sampai garis tanda.
3. Volume suspensi ekstrak etanol daun kelor yang akan diberikan pada tikus: (misal berat tikus200 g)
Jumlah EEDK dosis 100 mg/kg bb = 200 �
1000 �x 300 mg = 60 mg
Volume larutan yang diberi = 60 ��

c. Contoh perhitungan dosis larutan CMC-Na
CMC-Na sebagai kontrol negatif memiliki volume pemberian yang melebihi 2 ml, sehingga larutan CMC-Na diberikan 2 ml kepada setiap hewan percobaan kontrol negatif.
