PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA CHEMISTRY POP-UP BOOK MATERI PERKEMBANGAN TEORI ATOM SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dalam bidang pendidikan kimia yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan chemistry pop-up book “Atom dari Masa ke Masa” sebagai sumber belajar mandiri peserta didik kelas X SMA/MA dan mengetahui kualitas produk berdasarkan penilaian lima reviewer.
Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Pengembangan produk ditinjau oleh ahli media, ahli materi dan teman sejawat (peer reviewer). Produk dinilai oleh lima reviewer yaitu pendidik kimia SMA/MA di Yogyakarta dan Temanggung menggunakan instrumen penelitian terdiri atas 3 aspek yaitu isi/materi, penyajian, serta bahasa dan gambar. Data yang diperoleh adalah data kualitatif yang diubah menjadi data kuantitatif. Data kuantitatif ditabulasi dan dianalisis menggunakan kriteria kategori penilaian ideal untuk menentukan kualitas produk.
Hasil penelitian ini adalah chemistry pop-up book “Atom dari Masa ke Masa” berdasarkan penilaian lima reviewer. Skor yang diperoleh untuk aspek isi/materi sebesar 4,67, aspek penyajian sebesar 4,75, serta aspek bahasa dan gambar sebesar 4,45. Persentase keidealan tiap aspek berturut-turut yaitu 93,33%, 95,08% dan 89,00%. Berdasarkan ketiga aspek, penilaian buku pop-up ini termasuk dalam kualitas sangat baik (SB). Oleh karena itu, chemistry pop-up book “Atom dari Masa ke Masa” dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar mandiri peserta didik kelas X SMA/MA.

ABSTRACT
This research is developmental research in chemistry education. The aims of the research were to develop chemistry pop-up book “Atom dari Masa ke Masa” and to know the quality of the pop-up book based on review of five reviewers.
The development method that used was ADDIE model, consist of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Development of chemistry pop-up book was guided by subject matter expert, media expert and peer reviewers. By using an instrument, the product was evaluated by five senior high school chemistry teachers in Yogyakarta and Temanggung. The instrument of the research consisted of 3 aspects, content, presentation, language and picture. The result of the evaluation was qualitative data which were converted into quantitative data. The quantitative data were tabulated and analyzed by using the category criteria of ideal evaluation to determine the quality of the product.
The result of this research was chemistry pop-up book based on the evaluation of five reviewers. The average score of content aspect is 4.67, presentation aspect is 4.75, language and picture aspect is 4.45. The ideal percentage each aspect are 93.33%, 95.08% and 89.00%, respectively. Based on three aspects,was concluded to be very good and be used as a self learning source for grade 10th students of senior high school.
