DAMPAK KENAIKAN HARGA SAPI POTONG TERHADAP KERAGAAN USAHA KOPERASI PETERNAKAN BANDUNG SELATAN

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di KPBS Pangalengan dan Desa Margamukti Kecamatan Pangalengan mulai tanggal 6 sampai dengan 27 Desember 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) keragaan usaha KPBS Pangalengan sebelum dan sesudah terjadinya kenaikan harga sapi potong, (2) strategi KPBS Pangalengan dalam menanggulangi penjualan sapi perah produktif dan (3) pertimbangan peternak dalam menjual sapi perah produktif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus, jumlah peternak yang ada di Desa Margamukti sebanyak 543 orang. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik
purpossive sampling sehingga didapat 30 responden peternak, 2 pedagang
pengumpul dan 1 pengurus KPBS Pangalengan sebagai responden. Data yang didapat ditabulasikan kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode Analisis Rasio (likuiditas, solvabilitas dan rentabilitas) dan Analisis Kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Dampak kenaikan harga sapi potong terhadap keragaan usaha KPBS Pangalengan tahun 2011-2013 berdasarkan analisis rasio secara keseluruhan mengalami penurunan pada neraca, laporan rugi-laba, rasio likuiditas, rasio rentabilitas dan berada di posisi yang kurang likuid, kurang solvabel dan kurang rentabel. (2) Strategi KPBS Pangalengan dalam menanggulangi penjualan sapi perah produktif adalah meningkatkan penyuluhan dan menaikan harga susu di tingkat anggota. (3) Motif utama peternak menjual sapi perah produktif adalah karena harga menarik. Di samping itu, motif lainnya adalah sapi sakit, produksi susu menurun dan untuk membeli sapi yang lebih bagus.

ABSTRACT
This research was held in KPBS Pangalengan, Margamukti Village, Pangalengan District, on December 6th to 27th 2013. The purposes of this reaserch were to know : (1) the business performance in KPBS Pangalengan before and after price cattle rising, (2) strategy form KPBS Pangalengan’s strategies to protect productive dairy sold and (3) a background consideration of disposal productive dairy sold. The method used a case study method, with the farmers in Margamukti Village was 543 people. The sampling was achieved by purposive sampling, obtaining 30 samples of farmer, 2 wholesalers and 1 KPBS Pangalengan employee as respondents. The data were are tabulated and analyzed by Ratio Analysis (such as liquidity, solvability and rentability) and Qualitative Analysis method. The result of this research were : (1) The impact of cattle price rises toward business performance of KPBS Pangalengan in 2011-2013, based on ratio analysis showed that experienced a decline in the balance sheet, income statement, liquidity ratios, profitability ratios and the total of business performance in the minimum level (liquidity, solvability and rentability). (2) KPBS Pangalengan’s strategy to coped sell a productive dairy cow increased the extention and increased milk price. (3) The main farmer’s motive to sell a productive dairy was because a interested price. Besides that, the others motive were because of disesase, decreasing of milk production and want bought better quality of cow.
