Moch. Rendra N, 210110080032. Fenomena Pecandu Game Online. Dosen Pembimbing Utama Dr. Atwar Bajari, M.Si. Dosen Pembimbing Pendamping Iwan Koswara, Drs., M.Si. Jurusan Manajemen Komunikasi Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Padjadjaran.
Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Fenomena Pecandu Game Online. Peneliti mengambil kasus Fenomena Pecandu Game Online terutama Perilaku Komunikasi Pecandu Game Online Melalui Game Online karena ingin mengetahui Bagaimana Perilaku Komunikasi Pecandu Game Online Melalui Game Online.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Teknik pengambilan data melalui observasi pasitisipasi dan wawancara mendalam bersama delapan informan yang merupakan pecandu game online di Kota Bandung.
Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa kesadaran pecandu game online terdiri dari pengalaman, pemahaman, pengetahuan. Sementara itu pengalaman pecandu game online dalam memahami diri sebagai seorang pecandu game online terdiri dari pengalaman, memahami diri dan perasaan.

Moch. Rendra N. 210110080032. The Phenomenon of Online Games Addict. First advisor Dr. Atwar Bajari, M.Si. Second advisor Iwan Koswara, Drs., M.Si. Management of Communciation Departement Faculty of Communication Science Padjadjaran University.
The purpose of this research is to know The Phenomenon of Online Games Addict. The researcher took to of The Phenomenon of Online Games Addict especially Communciation Behavior of The Online Game Addict Through Game Online because it will show How The Behavior of The Addict Through Online Game.
The method which used in this research is qualitative method through phenomenology approach. The data collecting techniques is in-dept interview with eight people who are online game addict in Bandung.
The result showed that the awareness of online game addict consists of
experience, understanding, and knowledge. While the experience of online game
addict on understanding-self as online game addict consist of experience, understanding, and feeling.
The conclusion is the awareness of online game addict formed by experience, understanding, and knowledge. experience started from the number of intensity playing online game, communication participants, messages. the use of
comm. media, and comm context. Understanding-self consist of the informant
