ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan Penelitian tentang Studi Perbandingan Penambahan Variasi Ragi Tape dan Ragi Roti dalam Pembuatan Bioetanol dari Fermentasi Glukosa Hasil Hidrolisis Selulosa Tongkol Jagung Manis (Zea mays l. saccharata). Isolasi selulosa dari tongkol jagung manis diperoleh berat 13.81 %. Selulosa dihidrolisis menggunakan HCl 1% dengan lama hidrolisis 120 menit untuk menghasilkan glukosa 2.48% Glukosa yang diperoleh kemudian difermentasikan selama 5 hari dengan variasi ragi roti dan ragi tape sebanyak 4, 6 dan 8 g. hasil analisis kadar etanol paling besar dari ragi roti sebanyak 5.6% dan dari ragi tape sebanyak 3.6% dengan masing-masing berat ragi 8 g. Semakin banyak ragi yang ditambahkan maka etanol akan semakin banyak, tetapi jika ragi tersebut ditambahkan terlalu banyak maka bioetanol yang dihasilkan akan cenderung menurun karena adanya ragi yang mati ketika proses fermentasi sedang berlangsung.

ABSTRACT
Research has been done on the Comparative Study of Variation Additions Tape yeast and yeast bread in the Making Ethanol from Cellulose Hydrolysis Fermentation Glucose Results Cob Sweet Corn (Zea mays L. Saccharata). Cellulose insulation on the cob sweet corn gained weight 13.81 %. Cellulose is hydrolyzed using HCl 1% with 120 minutes long hydrolysis to produce glucose 2:48% glucose obtained is then fermented for 5 days with a variety of baker's yeast and yeast tape as much as 4, 6 and 8 g. the results of analysis of most ethanol content of as much as 5.6% of baker's yeast and yeast tape as much as 3.6% by weight of each yeast 8 g. The more yeast is added, the ethanol will be many more, but if the yeast is added too much, the bioethanol produced will tend to decrease because of the yeast dies when the fermentation process is underway.
