PENINGKATAN KEAKTIFAN DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR PKn MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PBL UNTUK SISWA KELAS III SD NEGERI PLAOSAN 1

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengembangkan potensi belajar manusia yang mencakup aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor. Mata pelajaran yang sesuai dengan tujuan tersebut salah satunya adalah PKn. Namun berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya keaktifan dan prestasi belajar PKn siswa kelas III SD Negeri Plaosan 1.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Memaparkan penggunaan model PBL dalam upaya meningkatkan keaktifan dan prestasi belajar PKn siswa kelas III SD Negeri Plaosan 1, (2) Meningkatkan keaktifan siswa kelas III SD Negeri Plaosan 1, (3) Meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas III SD Negeri Plaosan 1 dengan menggunakan model PBL. Model penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), berlangsung selama dua siklus dengan tahap: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan/ observasi, dan refleksi.
Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan meningkatnya keaktifan dan prestasi belajar siswa menggunakan model PBL. Persentase keaktifan kondisi awal jumlah siswa minimal cukup aktif seluruh indikator yaitu 39,13% dengan rata-rata nilai keaktifan 53,22 meningkat pada persentase jumlah siswa minimal cukup aktif siklus 1 56,52% dengan rata-rata nilai 55,94 dan siklus II meningkat menjadi 91,30% dengan rata-rata nilai 63,51. Persentase jumlah siswa lulus KKM pada kondisi awal 35,71% dengan nilai rata-rata 70,02. kemudian meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 43,47% dengan nilai rata-rata 74,13. Pada siklus II persentase meningkat menjadi 65,21% dengan nilai rata-rata 79,60.

Education is one way to develop human learning potential which included cognitive affective and psychometric aspects. The appropriate subject is PKn. However, according to interview and observation result showed that learning activeness and achievement in PKn of third grade students of Plaosan 1 Elementary School was lack.
The purposes of this research were (1) explain the use of PBL model in order to improve the learning activeness and achievement on PKn of third grade students of Plaosan 1 Elementary School, (2) improve learning activeness of third grade students of Plaosan 1 Elementary School, (3) improve learning achievement of third grade students of Plaosan 1 Elementary School using PBL model. The type of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was done in two cycles: planning, action, observation, and reflection.
The research result showed that the learning activeness and achievement using PBL model was increased. The percentage of learning activeness in first minimal students amount condition was sufficient actively was 39,13% with average activeness score 53,22% increased in minimum students amount percentage with sufficient actively in the first cycle was 56.52% with the average score 55,94 and in the second cycle increased became 91,30% with average score 63,51. The percentage of KKM graduated students amount in first condition 35,71% with average score 70,02 then increased in first cycle became 43,47% with average score 74,13. In second cycle increased became 65,21% with average score 79,60.
