DI SMK KABUPATEN INDRAMAYU

IN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL OF KABUPATEN INDRAMAYU

Abstrak: Pendidikan kejuruan merupakan salah satu lembaga untuk menyiapkan tenaga kerja di industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis orientasi perilaku kepemimpinan dan pemanfaatan sarana dan prasarana terhadap kepuasan siswa di SMK Kabupaten Indramayu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif analitik. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan angket. Data dianalisis

dengan statistik deskriptif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa gambaran umum

mengenai orientasi perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berada pada kategori tinggi, pemanfaatan sarana dan prasarana berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, dan kepuasan siswa berada pada kategori puas. Orientasi perilaku kepemimpinan memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dengan kategori sedang. Pemanfaatan sarana dan prasarana memberikan pengaruh signifikan dengan kategori sedang terhadap kepuasan siswa. Orientasi perilaku kepemimpinan dan pemanfaatan sarana dan prasarana memberikan pengaruh signifikan dengan kategori kuat terhadap kepuasan siswa.

Kata kunci: Orientasi Perilaku Kepemimpinan, Pemanfaatan Sarana dan Prasarana, Kepuasan Siswa.

Abstract: Vocational education is one of the institution to prepare the labor s in

industries. The aims of study are to describe and analyze behaviour oriented of leadership and the utilization of facilities toward students satisfaction. This study was done by descriptive analytic method. Data were collected by distributing questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. The study found that general description of the orientation of leadership behavoiur that is implemented by principal is in high category, the utilization of facilities is in very high category, and students satisfaction is in satisfied category. The orientation of leadership behaviour gives a significant influence with enough categories to students satisfaction. The utilization of facilities gives a significant influence with enough categories to students satisfaction. The Orientation of leadership behaviour and the utilization of facilities give a significant influence with strong categories to students satisfaction.

ABSTRACT

Students satisfaction is students condition who feel happy because there is an appropriate between service that they get toward their expectation. Students satisfaction will not happen without some factors that force it. Some factors that influence students satisfaction are the orientation of leadership behaviour and the utilization of facilities at school. The two things will influence the quality of school services to students. The best services will give satisfaction for students at school.

The aims of study are to know general description of the orientation of leadership behaviour that is implemented by principal, the utilization of facilities, and students satisfaction, how much influence of the orientation of leadership behaviour to students satisfaction, the utilization of facilities to students satisfaction, and how much influence of the orientation of leadership behaviour and the utilization of facilities to students satisfaction.

This study was done in vocational school of Kabupaten Indramayu and the respondents are students of vocational school. In collecting data of this study was done by distributing questionnaires to the respondents about the orientation of leadership behaviour, the utilization of facilities, and students satisfaction. Data analysis was done by testing each hypothesis that had been formulated.

This study found that general description of the orientation of leadership behavoiur that is implemented by principal is in high category, the utilization of facilities is in very high category, and students satisfaction is in satisfied category. The orientation of leadership behaviour gives a significant influence with enough categories to students satisfaction. The utilization of facilities gives a significant influence with enough categories to students satisfaction. The Orientation of leadership behaviour and the utilization of facilities give a significant influence with strong categories to students satisfaction.

This study recommends to the role of principal. The principals always give the best services to students satisfaction, in order to improve and keep students satisfaction.
