ABSTRACT
Background: Ultraviolet light (UV) -B increase levels of vitamin D, but dose-related response and effects induced skin pigmentation is not well understood. Recent research also suggests a role of vitamin D in slowing the development of tissue fibrosis, but its influence on the dermis fibrosis.
Methods: This research is a descriptive study with a total sampling design. Number of subjects skin tone that meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria were 35 persons. 25 levels in subjects oh D and color inspection to see the color of the skin of the fingertips to the wrist and see the type of the few subjects.
Results: The results showed no significant difference in mean danya at levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D to skin color. Aged 21-25 years is the most exposed age or skin color that is 20 out of 35 samples of approximately 57.1%. From the color of the skin and 25 OH D definsiensi most type 5 were 9 people (52.9%). Whereas in type 4 insuffisiensi as many as five people. The lowest type 3 3 (8.6%).
Conclusion: mean levels of 25-OH-D against UVB rays depending on skin pigmentation and the amount of UVB administered, and increased vitamin D status could be achieved with a dose of UVB that is small
