HOT KLASMEN PURBA 2015. ’Penggunaan Pakan Berbasis Ubi Kayu
terhadap Kualitas Karkas Ayam Broiler’ Dibimbing oleh NEVY DIANA
HANAFI dan MA’RUF TAFSIN.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manfaat penggunaan pakan berbasis ubi kayu fermentasi terhadap kualitas karkas (bobot akhir, bobot karkas, persentasi karkas, lemak abdominal ayam broiler).Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Biologi Ternak, Program Studi Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 35 hari di mulai dari Juni-Juli 2015. Rancangan yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan setiap ulangan terdiri dari 5 ekor broiler. Perlakuan ini terdiri atas P0 =Pakanransum dengan 0% tepung
ubi kayu non fermentasi. P1= Pakan ransum dengan 20% tepung ubi kayu non fermentasi P2= Pakan ransum dengan 40% tepung ubi kayu non fermentasi.P3= Pakan ransum dengan 20% tepung ubi kayu fermentasi.P4= Pakan ransum dengan 40% tepung ubi kayu fermentasi.
Hasil menunjukkan rataan bobot potong (g/ekor) rata-rata bobot potong PO., P1., P2., P3., P4 adalah1410,32, 1390,15, 1382,60, 1387,98, 1361,10.Bobot karkas (g/ekor) 1052,9, 1032,3, 1032,3, 997,8, 990,3. Persentasi karkas (%) adalah 74,57, 73,09, 75,0, 71,83, 72,36. Lemak abdominal (g/ekor) adalah 1,46, 1,55, 1,73, 1,58, 1,57. Hasil analisa keragaman menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pakan berbasis ubi kayuterhadap kualitas karkas (bobot akhir, bobot karkas, persentasi karkas, lemakabdominal) ayam broiler memberikan pengaruh yang tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap bobot potong, bobot karkas, persentase karkas dan berat lemak abdominal. Kesimpulanya ubi kayu fermentasi dan nonfermentasi dapat menggantikan jagung dalam pakan ayam boiler.

This study aims to determine the benefits of using cassava-based feed Fermentation on Carcass Quality (slanghter Weight, Carcass Weight, Carcass Percentage, Fat Abdominal Broilers). Experiment was conducted in Laboratory Animal Biology Faculty Agricultural, University North Sumatera started for June - July 2015. Design
used in this study is a Randomized Complete Design with 4 Treatments and 5 Replications, The treatment were level cassava on diet composed of. P0= Diet with 0% of non Fermented cassava. P1= diet ration with 20% cassava non fermented.P2= Diet ration with 40% of non fermented cassava. And cassava treated by rhizopus oligosporus, P3= Diet with 20% fermented cassava. P4= Diet with 40% cassava fermentation.
Resultsshowedthe averageslaughter weight(g/head) on treatment PO., P1., P2., P3., P4were 1410,32,1390,15, 1382,60, 1387,98, 1361,10.
