1. Natural host : rodents (deer mouse
(Peromyscus maniculatus), cotton rat
(Sigmodon hispidus), marsh rice rat (Oryzomys
palustris) , white-footed mouse (Peromyscus
leucopus), other carriers)
2. Transmission : Droplet and rodent excreta
