RECOGNIZING further that such cooperation will promote and advance the development
of existing friendly relations and fruitful cooperation between the two countries;

research. higher education and inno,·a1 ion in areas of nrntual interest;
b. Encourage and faci litate closer relauon!>hips amongst the following research-related
institutes and agencic to cooperate in the field of sc ience. hi gher education,
technology and innovati ons:
