ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kandang Unggas Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Padjadjaran Kabupaten Sumedang mulai Januari sampai dengan Februari 2013. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian bawang putih (Allium sativum) terhadap kadar lemak dan protein hati puyuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Penelitian ini ada empat perlakuan (P0 = 0 , P1 = 0,525 g, P2 = 1,05 g, dan P3 = 1,575 g ekstrak bawang putih) dengan lima ulangan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa pemberian bawang putih (0,525 1,575 gr) berpengaruh terhadap penurunan konsentrasi lemak dan protein hati puyuh akhir fase grower (p<0,05), (P1 = 22,90%, 81,75%; P2 = 30,46%, 64,89%; P3 = 24,52%, 71,51%). Pemberian bawang putih 0,525 g dapat menurunkan konsentrasi lemak dan protein paling optimal.

ABSTRACT
This research was conducted at Poultry cage, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Padjadjaran University, Sumedang started from January until February 2013. The aims of the research was to determine the effect of garlic (Allium sativum) of fat and protein levels of liver quail. This research used experimental methods with Completely Random Design. There were four treatments (P0 = 0 P1 = 0,525 g, P2 = 1.05 g, and P3 = 1,575 g of garlic extract) with five replications. Based on the results of statistical analysis indicated that garlic (0,525 1,575 grams) administration affected to decrease concentration of fat and protein liver guail at the late of growing period (P1 = 22,90%, 81,75%; P2 = 30,46%, 64,89%; P3 = 24,52%, 71,51%).The provision of garlic 0,525 g can reducing the concentration of fat and protein most optimal
