Sub Tema : Personal Recount Text Alokasi Waktu : 2 JP (2 x 30 Menit) A. Tujuan Pembelajaran

Setelah mengikuti serangkaian kegiatan pembelajaran melalui penggunaan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (Problem Based Learning) dan disajikan video serta teks, peserta didik dapat:

1. Menganalisis fungsi sosial teks personal recount dengan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait pengalaman pribadi di waktu lampau, pendek dan sederhana, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya yang benar

2. Menganalisis struktur teks teks personal recount dengan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait pengalaman pribadi di waktu lampau, pendek dan sederhana, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya yang benar.

3. Menganalisis unsur kebahasaan dalam bentuk teks personal recount dengan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait pengalaman pribadi di waktu lampau, pendek dan sederhana, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya yang benar.

4. Membandingkan teks personal recount dengan memberi dan meminta informasi terkait pengalaman pribadi di waktu lampau, pendek dan sederhana, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya yang benar

5. Merancang sebuah teks recount tulis pengalaman pribadinya sesuai kaedah dan unsur kebahasaan dengan benar dan penuh tanggung jawab

C. Kegiatan Pembelajaran a) Kegiatan Pendahuluan:

 Guru mengucapkan salam dan menanyakan kabar masing-masing.

 Peserta didik menjawab salam serta menyampaikan kabarnya masing-masing

 Menyiapkan fisik dan psikis peserta didik untuk mengikuti pembelajaran dengan melakukan pembukaan dengan memanjatkan syukur kepada Tuhan YME dan berdoa untuk memulai pembelajaran sebagai wujud sikap religius

 Memeriksa kehadiran peserta didik sebagai sikap disiplin

 Menanyakan keadaan peserta didik yang pertemuan sebelumnya tidak hadir dan menanyakan jika ada peserta didik yang tidak hadir pada hari tersebut.

 Guru memberi motivasi belajar peserta didik secara kontekstual sesuai manfaat dan aplikasi materi Personal Recount Text dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

 Guru melakukan tanya jawab yang berkaitan antara pengetahuan sebelumnya dengan materi yang akan dipelajari.

 Menjelaskan tujuan pembelajaran yang akan dicapai

1. Guru menyajikan 2 personal recount text melalui Power point (LKPD Activity 1).

2. Dengan arahan guru, Peserta didik mencocokkan kosa kata yang ada pada 2 Recount texts secara mandiri

3. Peserta didik melafalkan kosa kata yang ada pada teks 4. Peserta didik membaca 2 teks yang disiapkan oleh guru 5. Peserta didik mengamati dan memahami isi teks.

Some of the references about the Recount text’s definition.

 According to Abdul Hafis, et.al (2018) said that the recount text is a text that retells an event or a past event.

 According to Djuharie (2008), Recount is a reconstruction of something which happened in the past.

So, Recount is a text which retells events or experiences in the past 2. Social function

Social function of Recount Text is to inform/entertain the reader about the detailing of historical events

Generic Structure of Recount Text consits of 1. Orientation

Introduction to participants, setting of time, and also setting of place. Orientation is always in the first paragraph in the text

2. Series of events

This is a series of events that occur and are experienced by the participant.

3. Re-orientation

The closing sentence should be an impression and message. Re-orientation is optional.

4. Grammar and Language Features.

- Past Tense Action Verb (ex; walked, ran, built, destroyed, dll.) - Adjective (ex; big, dangerous, ancient, dll.)

- Adverbial Phrase (ex; on the opposite side, early in the morning, dll) - Time Connective (ex; At first, then, after that, finally, dll.)

- Evaluative Words (ex; important, remarkable, tragic, abondened, attacked, abused, etc.)

I spent my last summer holiday in Seoul, South Korea. I went there with my friends.

 Orientation On the first day, I was landed at Incheon Airport around 7

AM after a 6 hours long flight. Then I went to Seoul by train and checked in to the hotel I already booked. I decided to take a rest for a while. At night, I went to Hongdae, a famous district in South Korea. I went to eat traditional Korean food.

On the next day, I went to the Gyeongbokgung Palace and National Museum. I also went to learn how to make Kimchi and see the scenery of Seoul from Seoul Tower. I went back to the hotel at 10 PM and immediately went to sleep.

I spent my last day in Myeongdong and bought some stuffs and souvenirs for my family and friends. I also ate the street food there. I went to the airport at 3 PM because my flight was at 5 PM. I had a fantastic experience in South Korea and made wonderful memory with my friends. It was a great trip.

TEXT 1: VISITING YOGYAKARTA

On Wednesday, my students and I went to Yogyakarta. We stayed at Dirgahayu Hotel which is not far from Malioboro.

On Thursday, we visited the temples in Prambanan. There are three big temples, the Brahmana, Syiwa and Wisnu temples. They are really amazing. We visited only Brahmana and Syiwa temples, because Wisnu temple is being renovated.

On Friday morning we went to Yogya Kraton. We spent about two hours there. We were lucky because we were led by a smart and friendly guide. Then we continued our journey to Borobudur. We arrived there at four p.m. At 5 p.m. we heard the announcement that Borobudur gate would be closed. Although just a home holiday, at least to refresh my mind from the routine activities in the office.

TEXT 2: My Holiday

Last week I went to Mount Bromo. I stayed at my friend’s house in Probolinggo, East Java. The house has a big garden with colorful flowers and a small pool.

In the morning, my friend and I saw Mount Batok. The scenery was very beautiful.

We rode on horseback. It was scary, but it was fun. Then, we went to get a closer look at the mountain. We took pictures of the beautiful scenery there. After that, we took a rest and had lunch under a big tree. Before we got home, we went to the zoo at Wonokromo.

We went home in the afternoon.

We were very tired. However, I think it was really fun to have a holiday like this. I hope my next holiday will be more interesting.
