2. INVESTMENT
The realization of Domestic Direct Investment (PMDN) value in 2020 is Rp413.5 trillion. In 2021, the PMDN value increased by 8.11 percent to Rp447.1 trillion (Table 2.1). PMDN value in 2020 was dominated by investment in the transport, storage, and communication sector, which is about 22.56 percent of the total PMDN value in 2020. While the PMDN value in 2021 was dominated by investment in the industry sector, which is about 21.18 percent of the total PMDN value in 2021.
PMDN value of the agricultural, forestry, and fishery sector in 2020 amounted to Rp33.8 trillion, consisting of investment in food crops and plantation and agricultural services and hunting amounting to Rp29.8 trillion (88.14 percent), livestock Rp2.3 trillion (6.75 percent), forestry Rp1.2 trillion (3.44 percent), and fishery Rp564.9 billion (1.67 percent). PMDN value of the agricultural, forestry, and fishery sector in 2021 increased by 10.12 percent to Rp37.2 trillion, consisting of investment in food crops and plantation and agricultural services and hunting amounting to Rp27.2 trillion (73.12 percent), forestry Rp6.9 trillion (18.42 percent), livestock Rp2.1 trillion (5.74 percent), and fishery Rp1.0 trillion (2.72 percent).
The realization of foreign direct investment (PMA) value in 2020 is US$28.7 billion. In 2021, the PMA value increased by 8.47 percent to US$31.1 billion (Table 2.2). PMA value in the period 2020-2021 was dominated by the industrial sector, amounting to 46.06 percent (in 2020) and 50.83 percent (in 2021) of the total PMA value in 2020 and 2021.
PMA value of the agricultural, forestry, and fishery sector in 2020 amounted to US$1.3 billion, consisting of investments in food crops and plantation and agricultural services and hunting of US$1.1 billion (89.39 percent), fishery of US$48.2 million (3.78 percent), livestock US$44.4 million (3.49 percent), and forestry US$42.6 million (3.34 percent). PMA value of the agricultural, forestry, and fishery sector in 2021 decreased by 20.85 percent to US$1.0 billion, consisting of investments in food crops and plantation and agricultural services and hunting of US$922.1 million (91.37 percent), forestry of US$41.4 million (4.11 percent), livestock US$28.6 million (2.83 percent), and fishery US$17.1 million (1.70 percent).
The realization of the PMDN value of the livestock subsector in 2020 is Rp2.3 trillion. Then, in 2021 it decreased by 6.34 percent to Rp2.1 trillion (Table 2.1). If the livestock PMDN is detailed by Indonesia Standard Industrial Classification (KBLI), seems that the biggest livestock PMDN value in 2020 was livestock of poultry amounting to Rp2.2 trillion (94.62 percent of the total livestock PMDN value in 2020), followed by livestock of cattle and buffaloes Rp109.9 billion (4.81 percent), livestock of pigs Rp10.9 billion (0.48 percent), and livestock of sheep and goats Rp2.1 billion (0.09 percent). The biggest livestock PMDN value in 2021 was livestock of poultry amounting to Rp1.8 trillion (85.28 percent of the total livestock PMDN value in 2021), followed by livestock of cattle and buffaloes Rp228.9 billion (10.70 percent), other livestock Rp54.7 billion (2.56 percent), livestock of pigs Rp30.1 billion (1.41 percent), and livestock of sheep and goats Rp979.3 million (0.05 percent).
The realization of the PMA value of the livestock subsector in 2020 is US$44.4 million. Then, in 2021 it decreased by 35.75 percent become to US$28.6 million (Table 2.2). If the livestock PMA is detailed by KBLI, seems that the biggest livestock PMA value in 2020 was livestock of poultry amounting to US$41.0 million (92.20 percent of the total livestock PMA value in 2020), followed by livestock of cattle and buffaloes US$3.5 million (7.80 percent).

Nilai PMA peternakan tahun 2021 paling besar adalah peternakan sapi dan kerbau dengan nilai investasi sebesar US$19,4 juta (67,90 persen dari total PMA peternakan tahun 2021), diikuti peternakan unggas US$9,2 juta (32,09 persen), serta peternakan domba dan kambing US$3,4 ribu (0,01 persen).
PENJELASAN TEKNIS
1. Data investasi peternakan diperoleh dari Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal RI (BKPM RI). Data investasi peternakan tahun 2018-2021 dari BKPM diolah oleh Direktorat Pengolahan dan Pemasaran Hasil Peternakan, Direktorat Jenderal Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan.
2. Total nilai investasi diluar investasi Sektor Minyak & Gas Bumi, Perbankan, Lembaga Keuangan Non Bank, Asuransi, Sewa Guna Usaha, Investasi yang perizinannya dikeluarkan oleh instansi teknis/sektor, Investasi Porto Folio (Pasar Modal) dan Investasi Rumah Tangga.
The biggest livestock PMA value in 2021 was livestock of cattle and buffaloes amounting to US$19.4 million (67.90 percent of the total livestock PMA value in 2021), followed by livestock of poultry US$9.2 million (32.09 percent), and livestock of sheep and goats US$3.4 thousand (0.01 percent).
