visits mostly through Public Ports, which was up to 73.80% of total ship visits and domestic ship visits are the highest visit, which was 73.12% of all ship visits in 2018.

When compared with ship visits in 2017 it is increased by 2.11% for call unit, and for GT unit it also increased by 9.03%. This is due to the increase of ships visits call in Dumai Port, Pekanbaru Port, and Tanjung Pinang Port.

Container service provided by Pelindo 1 are one of the highest contributions to company’s businesses income. By increasing focus on container service performance to strengthen the company business, beside other transportation service, the company succeeded in achieving the number of container loading and unloading in 2018 up to 1,057.61 thousand boxes of containers and 1,293.09 thousand TEUs. Compared with the realization of container loading and unloading services in the same period of previous year, which is 949,176 boxes and 1.15 million TEUs, this indicates an increase of 11.42% for the box and 12.74% for the TEUs.

The increase in container operations in 2018 is caused by the increase in container operations at BICT with the increase of ship visits and throughput from PT.

The ocean Indonesia and also an increase in the volume of container loading and unloading in the TPKDB. The increase also performed in container loading and unloading at Perawang terminal in line with increase in activities of comoditied export and import of NPK fertilizer, glasses, ceiling plafonds, and factory machinery, and increasing activities of domestic commodities of flour, cement, consumer goods, ceramics and irons. Moreover, in the non-container terminal, container loading and unloading operations in 2018 also experienced an increase with the container handling activities from Batam to Belawan, the container market increase in Sibolga, and the realization of cooperation with domestic container shipping companies in Malahayati.

In order to improve container services, Pelindo 1 has improved loading and unloading facilities in 2018, namely:

Kunjungan kapal terbanyak melalui Pelabuhan Umum yaitu sebesar 73,80% dari seluruh kunjungan kapal dan kunjungan kapal dalam negeri merupakan kunjungan tertinggi

mencapai 73,12% dari seluruh kunjungan kapal tahun 2018.

Bila dibandingkan dengan kunjungan kapal tahun 2017 meningkat 2,11% untuk satuan call dan untuk satuan GT juga mengalami kenaikan 9,03%. Hal ini disebabkan meningkatnya kunjungan call kapal antara lain di Pelabuhan Dumai, Pelabuhan Pekanbaru dan Pelabuhan Tanjung Pinang.

Layanan peti kemas yang disediakan Pelindo 1 merupakan salah satu bisnis perusahaan yang memberikan kontribusi tertinggi terhadap pendapatan usaha. Melalui peningkatan fokus kinerja peti kemas untuk memperkuat bisnis perusahaan selain angkutan lainnya, perusahaan berhasil mencapai jumlah bongkar muat peti kemas pada tahun 2018 sebesar 1.057,61 ribu box peti kemas dan 1.293,09 ribu teus. Dibandingkan dengan realisasi jasa bongkar muat peti kemas periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya yang sebesar 949.176 box dan 1,15 juta teus terdapat peningkatan 11,42%

untuk box dan12,74% untuk teus.

Kenaikan operasional peti kemas di tahun 2018 disebabkan oleh meningkatnya operasional peti kemas di BICT dengan adanya tambahan kunjungan kapal dan troughput dari PT.

Samudera Indonesia serta adanya peningkatan volume bongkar peti kemas isi di TPKDB. Juga peningkatan bongkar muat peti kemas di terminal Perawang dengan adanya peningkatan kegiatan ekspor dan impor komoditi pupuk NPK, kaca, plafond dan mesin pabrik serta meningkatnya kegiatan domestik komoditi tepung, semen, consumer good, keramik dan besi. Selain itu di terminal non peti kemas, kegiatan operasional bongkar muat peti kemas di tahun 2018 juga mengalami kenaikan dengan adanya kegiatan handling peti kemas dari Batam ke Belawan, peningkatan pasar peti kemas di Sibolga dan terealisasinya kerjasama dengan perusahaan pelayaran peti kemas domestik di Malahayati.

Dalam rangka peningkatan pelayanan jasa peti kemas, Pelindo 1 selama tahun 2018 telah melakukan pengembangan fasilitas bongkar muat, antara lain berupa:

a. Pemasangan Barrier Gate In/Gate Out di Depo dan

Branch.

b. Procurement of LAN networks and SIM supporting infrastructure for Container Terminal in Branches of Malahayati, Sibolga, and Tanjung Pinang.

c. The procurement of the Main Pre-Gate to Gate network in BICT that is needed to protect the BICT area and ensure that services have been carried out effectively and optimally.

d. Expansion of dock facilities in Sei Kolak Kijang Port Area to improve service for container ships, that they can accommodate 150 tons of shore cranes and fixed cranes. Sei Kolak Kijang Port is a container port on Bintan Island which backs up the Tanjungpinang municipality and Bintan Regency area.

e. Procurements of 4 (four) RTG units, 20 (twenty) terminal tractor units, and 2 (two) units of Ship To Shore (STS) Crane at the Belawan Domestic Container Terminal (TPKDB) to facilitate receiving / delivery activities, reducing the containers accumulation period and increase the productivity of loading and unloading services.

The realization of goods loading and unloading services in 2018 reached 42.77 million tons, which is down to 14.27% or equivalent to 7.12 million tons compared to the previous year which was recorded at 49.89 million tons. This condition was mainly due to declining loading and unloading activities, which included export of palm kernel cake (PKC), exports of palm oil, wheat imports, bulk fertilizer imports and coal loading through the Belawan Port and palm oil export activities through the Dumai Port, and LNG unloading at Lhokseumawe Port.

During 2018 the number of foreign and domestic passengers was 5,316,860 persons, increased by 5.85% or 293,889 persons compared to the number of passengers recorded in the previous year of 5,022,971 persons. Overseas passengers in 2018 was 1,308,087 persons or increased by 24.60%, and domestic passengers was 4,008,773 persons or increased by b. Pengadaan jaringan LAN dan infrastruktur pendukung

c. Pengadaan jaringan pre Gate ke Gate Utama di BICT yang diperlukan untuk melindungi kawasan BICT serta memastikan layanan telah dilaksanakan secara efektif dan optimal.

d. Perluasan fasilitas dermaga Kawasan Pelabuhan Sei Kolak Kijang untuk melayani kapal peti kemas, sehingga dapat menampung shore crane dan fixed crane 150 ton. Pelabuhan Sei Kolak Kijang menjadi pelabuhan peti kemas di Pulau Bintan yang memback up kawasan kotamadya Tanjungpinang dan Kabupaten Bintan.

e. Pengadaan 4 (empat) unit RTG, pengadaan 20 (dua puluh) unit terminal tractor dan pengadaan 2 (dua) unit Ship To Shore (STS) Crane di Terminal Peti Kemas Domestik Belawan (TPKDB) untuk memperlancar kegiatan receiving/delivery, mengurangi masa penumpukan peti kemas dan meningkatkan peningkatan produktivitas layanan bongkar muat.

Realisasi jasa bongkar muat barang tahun 2018 tercapai sebanyak 42,77 juta ton, turun 14,27% atau setara dengan 7,12 juta ton dibanding tahun sebelumnya yang tercatat sebanyak 49,89 juta ton. Kondisi ini terutama disebabkan oleh menurunnya kegiatan bongkar muat barang yang antara lain berupa ekspor bungkil, ekspor minyak sawit, impor gandum, impor pupuk curah dan bongkar batu bara melalui Pelabuhan Belawan dan kegiatan ekspor minyak sawit melalui Pelabuhan Dumai, serta bongkar LNG di Pelabuhan Lhokseumawe.

Selama tahun 2018 jumlah penumpang luar negeri dan dalam negeri tercatat sebanyak 5.316.860 orang, naik 5,85% atau bertambah 293.889 orang dari jumlah penumpang yang tercatat di tahun sebelumnya sebanyak 5.022.971 orang. Penumpang luar negeri tahun 2018 sebanyak 1.308.087 orang atau mencapai 24,60% dan penumpang dalam negeri sebanyak 4.008.773 orang atau mencapai 75,40% dari dari jumlah penumpang tahun 2018. passenger crossing terminals for domestic access that facilitate passengers between islands surrounding as well as for international access that facilitate passengers to and from Malaysia and Singapore. In the tourism sector, structuring the port is also expected to increase the number of tourists who will visit tourist locations in North Sumatra and Riau Islands provinces primarily as the entrance for tourists from Malaysia and Singapore who will travel to Lake Toba and Batam.
