Pertamina Gas distributes and sells customer gas based on the business-to-business (B-to-B) agreement, for customer gas transportation it is committed to the Gas Transportation Agreement (GTA), while for customer gas commerce it is committed to the Gas Sales Agreement (GSA). The customers of Pertamina Gas vary ranging from power plants, fertilizer plants to steel mills, and other types of industries. In addition to external customers, Pertamina Gas also continuously supplies gas to Pertamina Group’s requirements, such as for refineries and other Pertamina’s subsidiaries.
In 2016 Pertamina Gas controls approximately 61%
share of the Indonesian market for pipeline gas transportation business. For the segment of gas commerce, Pertamina Gas controls approximately 13% share of the Indonesian market. The amount is expected to continue to grow annually given the Company’s aggressive expansion, particularly in constructing new gas pipeline infrastructure.
