Fachrurrazy argues that it is important for anyone who wants to learn methods of teaching English to know basic terms in the field. In the lower levels, such as primary schools and kindergartens, English is not a compulsory subject; it can be taught to the students as topic of the local content.9. According to Lapp and Fisher, comprehension is the reader's ability to interact with information in the text and also the reader's background experiences with the subject and language of the text.20.

Third, Samuels said that reading comprehension is a process in which the reader constructs meaning using as building materials the information on the printed page and the knowledge stored in the reader's head.23 Reading is understanding. Write questions and answers that ask the reader to consider an issue addressed in the story "outside" the story. It must be taken in the language of the second teacher and sometimes, its position is underestimated in postgraduate education. 34.

In addition, the teaching materials used could not acquire the basic knowledge of the students as an Islamic school. Therefore, the teacher expects a textbook that can be expected to improve the students' basic knowledge so that learning English can improve their knowledge of Islam. The use of irrelevant English books is a problem in the implementation of the school curriculum and it is caused by two factors, the lack of relevant English books sold in the market and the inability of English teachers to design such materials.

The needs analysis questionnaire was conducted on October 17, 2019, distributing the needs analysis questionnaire to the students of MTs N 1 East Lampung. The researcher developed material for English reading skills in the form of a course book which contained Islamic teaching materials. The developed materials consist of 3 units, in which there are several tasks and also texts that are expected to be understood by the students.

The internal validity of the developed English learning materials for MTs N 1 East Lampung for MTs N 1 East Lampung. Product language teaching English literacy materials for eight grade MTs N 1 East Lampung has been validated/assessed by three trainers from TBI IAIN Metro Study Program. The three teachers were submitted by researchers to the chairman of the English-language department IAIN Metro to subsequently be made into an application letter to become a validator.

The results of the assessment of teaching material from 3 practitioners are presented in the following table. In the validation process Validator, I suggest that it be complimented with a table of contents, except that the skill use in the product does not apply to students at MTs or junior high school, and also cover design is also recommended to be changed to be more . interesting, and the last is to pay attention to writing techniques (Dr. Umi Yawisah, M.Hum, 2019). Furthermore, validator II gives to pay attention to grammatical writing, and the last to give authentic source (Dr. Mahrus As'ad, M.Ag, 2019).

Finally, validator III compliments all the evaluator's suggestions by asking that phonetics be used in each dictionary, the last one being the use of the remaining blank space for the cap (Dr. Dedi Irwansyah, 2019).
