Action Plan

  • Cycle 2

The researcher would like to divide the research into two cycles in the classroom action research. Classroom action research (CAR) has several models, but in this research the researcher used O‟Leary research design. The researcher makes a plan, how to stimulate the students through the technique and base the cycle.

In classroom action research, the researcher would like to have a gap in the research in two cycles. In the third phase, the researcher observes the students' activity, their participation and notes the learning process.

Data Collection Technique

  • Test
  • Observation
  • The Field Note

After comparing the distribution of pre-test and post-test scores, the researcher reflects on the teacher's perspective and performance whether it is positive or negative. The researcher gives a speaking topic to be created in pairs by describing something like a friend of his bench. After the treatment, know the impact of the technique if it is able to improve the student's speaking performance.

To know the student's speaking performance, the researcher uses in the form of questions. In this current researcher, the researcher also uses documentation to know all data from the students of MA MA'ARIF 14 Bumi Nabung Central Lampung.

In addition, in the post-test I there were 11 students or (42%) who passed the test, the indicator students get a score > 70 with an average score of 70. Meanwhile, in the post-test II there were 20 students or (77%) who passed the test indicator students get a grade>70 with an average of 77.

It is inferred that there is improvement on the students' complete grade and total grade of the students who passed the least from pre-test, post-test I to post-test II. From the explanation, the researcher comes to the conclusion that the research is successful and it can be stopped in cycle II because the success indicator 75% of students got a degree.
