RESEARCH METHOD
Research Design
This means that the researcher is prescribed in relation to the PQRST strategy and is to investigate whether there is any significant impact on students' reading comprehension after the treatment is given. Moreover, quantitative research is based on the measurement of quantity or quantity.43 Therefore, the researcher concludes that this research is quantitative research because numerical data obtained from students were used in the research. Based on the quote above, the researcher focused on expressing the impact of using the independent variable on the dependent variable.
The researcher then administered a post-test to identify their post-treatment reading achievement using the “PQRST Strategy”. In this research; the researcher investigates the eighth grade Junior 4 Metro High School.

Data Collection Technique
Therefore, in this study, test will be used as a data collection method to measure both variables. The researcher uses a reading text test of some texts to measure the student's prior knowledge of reading descriptive text. Furthermore, the researcher uses the test to collect the data consisting of the pre-test and the post-test as a data collection method to measure the students' reading comprehension in descriptive text.
The post-test will be conducted in the last meeting after doing treatments to find out whether the treatments make any contribution to the student's performance in class or not. The researcher used the documentation of the English teachers on whose competencies were to collect the data and to get detailed information about students' English reading comprehension performance in the eighth grade of Junior High School 4 Metro.
Research Instrument
The research on reading comprehension, therefore the research instrument used in current research, is in the form of reading comprehension test. The instrument that will be used in the test in this research, it included the pre- and post-test on English learning result. Instrument blueprint in this research is an illustration of the test consisting of indicates of each variable.
The students can find reference to the text and deduce the meaning (vocabulary). Instrument calibration is a scale of measurement used in the instrument standard described in use.
Data Analysis Technique

The preparation of the table to prove whether there is an impact of using the PQRST Strategy on the reading comprehension of students in the eighth grade of junior high school 4 Metro. The result of the pre-test and post-test scores of the unnamed students' reading comprehension pretest. After administering the written test method, the researcher analyzed the data using two-variable Chi-Square (χ2) to prove whether it uses the PQRST (Predict, Question, Read, Summarize and Test) strategy for reading students.
It was useful to know the impact of using the PQRST (Predict, Question, Read, Summarize and Test) strategy on students' understanding from the results of those tests. From the above value, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant impact of using the PQRST Strategy on the reading comprehension of students in the eighth grade of the 4 Metro lower secondary school.
Interpretation
Therefore, it can be concluded that "there is a positive and significant influence by using the PQRST strategy on the students' reading comprehension in the eighth grade in Ungdomsskole 4 Metro."
Discussion
Reading comprehension that other strategy especially for eighth grade students of junior high school 4 Metro. Furthermore, the result of this research confirmed that the impact of the PQRST strategy on students' reading comprehension was fair. This research also clarified that the theory of the impact of using the PQRST Strategy on the reading comprehension of students in the eighth grade of the 4 Metro High School.
In other words, the result of the research may vary at the other educational institutions. It depends on several factors such as condition, situation, research setting and subject of the study.
Limitation
Siswa harus meniru kebiasaan tersebut dengan menyebutkan dan bertanya dalam bahasa Inggris tentang (a) kemampuan dan (b) kemauan untuk bertindak dan menanggapinya. Bahasa Indonesia tentang pengalaman belajar menyebutkan dan menanyakan tentang perbuatan/peristiwa yang dilakukan/terjadi secara rutin atau merupakan kebenaran umum, termasuk kemudahan dan kesulitannya. Siswa menggunakan bahasa Inggris setiap kali ada kesempatan untuk menyebutkan dan menanyakan tentang tindakan/peristiwa yang sedang berlangsung/sedang berlangsung, di dalam dan di luar kelas, dengan unsur bahasa yang sesuai dengan fungsi sosialnya.
Siswa meniru contoh interaksi dengan menyebutkan dan bertanya. dilakukan/terjadi di masa lalu dalam bahasa Inggris dengan pengucapan, penekanan, intonasi dan sikap yang benar. Para siswa mendiskusikan masalah yang dialami dalam menggunakan bahasa Inggris untuk menyebutkan dan menanyakan tentang. dilakukan/terjadi di masa lalu dan tuliskan dalam buku harian pelajaran sederhana dalam bahasa Indonesia.
CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION
Conclusion
After the implementation of Quantitative research at the eighth grade of Junior High School 4 Metro and according to the results of pre-test and post-test, it could be summarized that there was a positive and significant influence before and after the implementation of PQRST strategy in the teaching of reading comprehension . There was a significant influence of PQRST strategy on the students' reading comprehension at the eighth grade of Junior High School 4 Metro. Based on the analysis of the research data, the researcher comes to the conclusion that in this research PQRST (Preview, Question, Review, Summary and Test) is used as strategy is an alternative strategy that can affect the students' reading comprehension.
Suggestion
Siswa menggunakan bahasa Inggris setiap kali ada kesempatan untuk menyebutkan dan bertanya tentang (a) kemampuan dan (b) kemauan untuk bertindak dan menanggapinya, di dalam dan di luar kelas. Dengan bimbingan dan arahan guru, siswa mengidentifikasi ciri-cirinya. fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan) interaksi menyebutkan dan menanyakan tentang (tempat orang, benda, dan hewan berada dalam jumlah tak tentu. Siswa hendaknya meniru kebiasaan tersebut dengan menyebutkan dan menanyakan tentang tindakan/peristiwa yang dilakukan/berlangsung pada saat tertentu Bahasa Inggris dengan unsur kebahasaan yang sesuai dengan fungsi sosialnya.
Observasi tindakan siswa menggunakan bahasa Inggris untuk menyebutkan dan menanyakan tentang perbandingan jumlah dan sifat orang, hewan, benda ketika ada kesempatan, di dalam dan di luar kelas. Sikap tanggung jawab, kerjasama, kepedulian dan kepercayaan yang menyertai tindakan menyebutkan dan menanyakan tentang tindakan/peristiwa yang dilakukan/terjadi pada waktu lampau. Mengamati tindakan siswa menggunakan bahasa Inggris untuk menyebutkan dan menanyakan tentang kegiatan, peristiwa dan kejadian saat kesempatan muncul, di dalam dan di luar kelas.
