The purpose of this researcher was to determine if there was a positive and significant impact of the Portfolio Assessment method on the writing skills of eleventh grade students at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro. The population in this research was all the eleventh grade students in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro, and the samples of this researcher were the eleventh grade students of TKJ 2 and TKJ 3. Moreover, in the data analysis, the researcher used chi- formula square and t-test.
This means there is positive and significant, so the Portfolio Assessment method was an influence on writing skill of the eleventh grade students at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro.

In order to prove whether there is any difference between the experimental class and control class of the eleventh pupil at SMK. The results of the Likert scale data influence the portfolio assessment of the skills presented in Appendix 16, the data analysis is presented below.
