The subject of this research is 30 students at the eleventh grade of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro in the academic year of 2017/2018. It shows that there is a positive and significant influence on different phonetics between English and Indonesian languages ​​on the students' speaking performance among the eleventh graders of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro In the Academic Year of 2017/2018. The result of data analysis on the influence of different phonetics between English and Indonesian language on the students speaking performance of the eleventh grades in SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro in the academic year 2017/2018 as follows; "Fobserved was higher than ftable.

It can be proven that there is a positive and significant influence of different phonetics between English and Indonesian language on the speaking performance of eleventh grade students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro in the academic year 2017/2018.

SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro is one of the state vocational secondary schools in Metro, it was built in 1991. It was built on a land of +/- 1996 m2 with the following boundaries: the north side is adjacent to SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro, the south side is adjacent to SMK Muhammadiyah Metro 1, the east side is adjacent to SMK Negeri 2 Metro Station.SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro has professional teachers and officials from different universities and also from different levels of education.

This is due to the better quality of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro graduates who have to attribute specific skills in different fields. The total number of teachers and official employers of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro was 65 which can be identified in the table below. Based on the above explanation, we can conclude that there were a total of 5 students with grades 22-30.

Based on the above explanation, we can conclude that there were a total of 2 students with grades 54-59.

Hypothesis Testing

Contingency table of expected frequency as a result of students' speaking performance in pre-test and post-test. Next, know the critical value of the chi-square that the researcher first calculated df , was the degree of freedom. The degree of freedom for the 5% significant level for df 2 is 5.991 and for the 1% significant level it is 9.210, which means that foobserved is higher than ftable.

Putting the above data into the t-test formula search design to be "observed". Moreover, the researcher demonstrated the data which was analyzed using T-test in SPSS in the table below. The above table showed that the total pretest sample was 30 with a minimum value of 22 and a maximum value of 73, its pretest mean was 45.70 with a standard deviation of 13.958.

Meanwhile, the total sample of post-test was 30 with the minimum value was 54 and maximum value was 89, its mean of post-test was 74.87 with the standard deviation was 9.598. The above table illustrated that the mean of pre and post test results was 29.167 and its standard deviation was 9.660 with standard error.

Discussion

Before conducting the research, the researcher gave a pre-test to find out the students' highest level of speaking performance before the treatment. The result seeded that the highest score was 73 and the lowest score was 22 with an average of 46. The result showed that the highest score was 89 and the lowest score was 54 with an average of 75.

This was evidenced by mean pretest scores that improved from 46 up to 74 after treatment. In addition, from the comparison of t-test, it was gain that at the significant level of 1% and 5%. It can help them to know and be aware of what is going on in their mouth, and at the same time they can also identify and correct any pronunciation mistakes made by themselves and others.

Limitation

So, the study is very suitable to be applied in the teaching activity because through this material the students can improve". Students are suggested to develop their speaking performance by mastering phonetics, especially in learning English, especially in pronunciation and articulation. Siswa mendemonstrasikan penggunaan representasi identitas lisan dan tulis di dalam kelas dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, ungkapan, dan unsur kebahasaan yang benar dan sesuai konteks. Menyusun teks lisan dan tulis untuk melafalkan dan menanggapi pujian dengan sayap, dengan memperhatikan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan yang benar dan sesuai konteks.

Materi Pokok : Teks naratif lisan dan tulis sederhana, tentang pengalaman/peristiwa/peristiwa Waktu : 6 x 45 menit. Analisis fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan dalam teks naratif sederhana tentang pengalaman/peristiwa/kejadian dalam kaitannya dengan konteks penggunaannya. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan observasi untuk mengetahui situasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.
