Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The material used in this study is narrative text. Students' activities in the learning process should be more active. The classroom situation was improving.

Background of Study

The creativity of the trainer can be very essential to make the researchers to be energetic and innovative in acquiring knowledge about the lesson. The problem based primarily on total knowledge acquisition makes the researcher and the trainer solve the problem approximately learning together.

Problem Identification

The researcher hopes that by using a problem that is primarily based on complete knowledge acquisition, scientists will be able to recognize the simple over the annoying. The researcher hypothesizes that an approach based mainly on complete knowledge acquisition can be used to attack the hobby and motivation of students in acquiring knowledge.

The similarity of the first preliminary research is that both use problem-based learning as a method. Similarities to other prior research are that the research uses classroom action research as a type of research and problem-based learning.

After data reduction, the presentation of the data is prepared in the form of a systematic story edited by the researcher to better understand the meaning. The continuous interaction between the three components of the analysis and the collection of new data can generate complete data and draw final conclusions. In this study, students become proficient when they can achieve standard minimums of classical learning integrity.

Description of the Research Setting

SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro based on the Letter of the Director of Vocational Secondary Education of the Ministry of National Education No. On this basis, SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro tries to improve itself by improving management both internally and externally. Students are required to report to school if they will be performing student activities, both inside and outside of school. Students are obliged to turn off the engine of two-wheeled vehicles when entering the school gates and/or in the school environment, during KBM (from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

ORDER IN THE CLASS

The head of the class is obliged to take the attendance of the students at the beginning of the study time and return the attendance after the end of the study time to the student's room and be responsible for the actual absence. Students turn off cell phones during KBM, so students are prohibited from bringing cell phones with cameras and or playing/turning on cell phones in class during KBM.

CONDITION OF CLOTHING AND HEALTH Uniforms to be worn by students

Students are required to maintain beauty, cleanliness and environmental sustainability, students are required to maintain the use of supporting facilities such as libraries, art tools, trade equipment and study rooms. Pupils who are not in uniform according to the regulations may not take KBM in class.

Furthermore, the researcher made an observation sheet consisting of a list of students' names and a list of the students' activities that would be observed during the teaching-learning process. Next, the researcher invited the students to divide into five groups consisting of 5 students to discuss the topics. Based on the result above, the researcher indicated that the learning process in cycle II was successful because the students' activity got a percentage.

From the table and above, it could be seen that the students' scores in the post-test were different. Also, the percentage of student success in post-score was 76% or 21 students out of the total number of students passed the good to average score in written measurement and 24% or 8 students did not pass the good to average. This means that the indicator of the success of this research had been achieved, that was >75%, that the students got a score of 60.

Based on the above result, it could be concluded that this Classroom Action Research (CAR) was successful and will not be continued in the next cycle because the learning process and learning product completely passed the success indicators, which means that mcniff could increase or strengthen students' legend writing skills.

The Result of Students‟ Learning Activities in Cycle I and Cycle II

The students who answer the teacher's questions improved from the first session to the next session. Based on the above data, it could be concluded that the students felt safe and active with the learning process, because most of the students showed a good improvement in learning activities when problem-based learning technique was used in the learning process from cycle I up to cycle. II. From the explanation of cycle I and cycle II, it could then be deduced that the use of problem-based learning technique increases students' skills in writing explanatory text.

From Figure 9, it was evident that there was an improvement in the mean score and total score of the students who took the test from the pre-test to the post-test.

Discussion

More precisely, a positive and significant improvement in the use of problem-based learning based on cooperative learning that students improve after coaching. The problem-based learning can be a solution in the teaching and learning process, especially when writing legend texts, because this technique leads all students to coach each other.35 With this technique, the teaching and learning process becomes more interesting, fun and enjoyable. makes the classroom atmosphere active as it forms student groups so that they can take a more active role in the learning process. As a solution in teaching English, especially writing legend text, the teacher should give a technique to interest and pay attention to the students in the order that they do not get bored to catch the material.

The benefits of this technique had been proven, many students are active in the learning process, although not all of them.

The researcher gave some topics to each member in a group and the students had to discuss with their groups and make a legend text about the topics. At the end of the meeting, the researcher gave an evaluation about some of the students' learning results. For the final part, the researcher gave motivation to the students and stimulated the students to finish the material.

The students had to discuss and compose the text of the legend about the topics with their groups. The researcher used problem-based learning to implement the practice.
