El-Gohary [15]; Although Halal tourism and Islamic tourism are rooted in Islamic law, they are different. This is especially the case for Indonesia as the world's largest Muslim country [28,74] and the world's new halal tourism destination [8,13,75]. Only two studies on the promotion of halal tourism destinations have been conducted in Indonesia by Henderson [45] and Chabbra [4].

Considering several reasons mentioned above, this study aims to add to the few studies on the promotion of halal tourism destination in Indonesia by examining the website that is officially owned. Second, previous studies on Halal tourism destination image use the home page as the unit of analysis to avoid bias due to differences in website and page size [4,45,65]. Of all the halal tourism destination websites, Aceh uses the most Islamic attributes at bandaacehtourism.com.

The Challenges of Developing Tourism Events in Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park

In fact, a tourism event can be one of the supporting factors as the image of a tourist destination [14]. So far, various types of tourism events have been organized in the area and around TNBTS. She investigated the practice of implementing attractions, tourism products and tourism events related to the theory by taking the case of Bali [5].

The positive relationship between tourist events with the number and motivation of tourists makes the research on event tourism interesting to study further. The sustainability of the tourism event not only concerns the triple profit margin, but also the triple profit margin. By using descriptive qualitative, the researcher aimed to show and explain accurate descriptions and illustrations of tourism events taking place in TNBTS.

Scale and forms of tourism events During the last decade, various tourism events have been successfully organized in the TNBTS area (Table 1). Impacts of tourism events on TNBTS Before discussing the challenges, it is necessary to identify the impacts of a tourism event. However, the challenges of developing tourism events related to sustainability are related to environmental aspects.

The types of tourism events to be held include sports events (Ijen Trail Running, Road to Ijen, Mount Ijen Special Gravity), Arts and Entertainment (Jazz Ijen) and Recreation (Layang-Layang Wurung Crater). The challenges facing the development of tourism events in TNBTS include institutional, sustainability and competition with competitors.

Community Efforts of Tutup Ngisor in Maintaining Art and Cultural Traditions

  • Planning
  • Organizing
  • Actualizing
  • Monitoring and Evaluating

The focus of this study is the traditional art community of Tutup Ngisor sub-village and all its elements. The literature is particularly about art and culture directly related to examples of art in the Tutup Ngisor sub-village art community. This is called the art policy of the Tutup Ngisor community, which preserves and maintains its cultural identity in the field of art [10].

The first part deals with the art community of Tutup Ngisor from its inception to the present day. Most of the Tutup Ngisor community members are local youth who are active in all activities in the village. The Tutup Ngisor community is a team that supports solidarity among its members to support the continuous development of the organization.

The structure of the organization is very important so that each member knows his role and duty in the art community of Tutup Ngisor. Tutup Ngisor's art community has used a systematic hierarchical structure with its members. The advisor and leader monitor the activities of the committee and community members so that they are more focused.

Evaluation is an assessment to measure the effectiveness of the committee and community members as well [21]. At some level, those stakeholders will participate in decision-making in community organizing.

Tourism Destination in Remote Area: Problems and Challenges of Tourism Development in North Halmahera as Remote and Border Areas of

Indonesia-Philippines

Through community involvement in the decision-making process, the community can determine the direction of the development. The government as a driver of tourism development seeks to increase public participation in the tourism sector so that the policies formulated are a joint decision. Local government plays an important role in the policy implementation process to achieve sustainable tourism development as demonstrated [31,32].

The local government provides the financing system and utilizes the human resources in the tourism department to optimize the tourism policy implementation process. In the future, I hope that the local community is able to participate and fulfill the economic benefit of tourism development. To ensure that the destination remains safe and clean, the involvement of local communities in the development of tourism becomes very important.

It is also important to integrate all stakeholders in the development of North Halmahera tourism. In connection with community-based tourism, partnerships are maintained between governments and the private sector as well as local communities. Another challenge in the process of tourism development is the degree of participation in the development process.

Thus, it can be noted that the challenges in developing the main tourist attraction in North Halmahera Regency is an attempt to increase community participation through partnerships to achieve sustainable tourism. Problems in the development of tourist objects in North Halmahera indicate the existence of a governance system that has not been the object of interest.

The Role of Volunteer for the Management of Conservation-based Ecotourism in Clungup Mangrove Conservation

Tambakrejo Village, Sumbermanjing Wetan Sub-District, Malang

This observation was made by following the direct activities in the field, observing what activities are available in ecotourism areas in Clungup Mangrove Conservation. This clearly provides value to the client, but it does not contribute to the preservation of the species and habitats that are at the heart of the experience and the very motivation for traveling in the first place. In the same year, an initiative emerged to establish called Bhakti Alam Sendangbiru Foundation so that the ecotourism management in the CMC area has legally legitimate institutions.

The hard work of the volunteers resulted in the increase of damaged mangrove forests; incidentally, changes in mangrove forest area between 2010 and 2016 have increased over a six-year period. This achievement cannot be separated from the conservation of mangrove forests in the area of Clungup Mangrove Conservation by the Society of Supervisors of Gatra Olah Alam Lestari (POKMASWAS GOAL) Bhakti Alam. Std., Vol.6, No.3, September 2018 The role of volunteers in ecotourism management in CMC is very significant.

Std., Vol.6, No.3, September 2018, in which this study mentions that Dampit sub-regency was selected as an observation site, and Amadanom village was selected as the focus of the study. There had been no training regarding the development of the coffee plantations as a place for tourism. However, the controversial aspect in the infrastructure development related to the establishment of the permanent toilet and prayer room at the central site of the coffee garden by the local government.

Increasing the economic status of the community Ecotourism in Amadanom has been assumed to be able to increase the economic earnings of the local family participating in the ecotourism program [10,13]. One of the reasons for this situation is that tourism is still at the beginning of development. One of the famous coffees from Indonesia originates from Dampit, Malang Regency in East Java.

In Amadanom, tourism-based coffee was introduced and initiated as one of the diversification of coffee crops. The Dampit coffee has also received positive appreciation from consumers and is known as one of the best coffees in Indonesia. Promotion is one of the most important elements that includes various action plans to inform the current or prospective customers about the development of a good product, its price and availability [16].
