This practical work is one of the activities for Bengkalis State Polytechnic students in completing studies and as a requirement in lectures, it also has great significance for authors to be able to apply the knowledge gained in lectures to the world of work, namely on the Office of the General Election Supervisory Agency (BAWASLU) Dumai city. The Office of the General Election Supervisor (BAWASLU) in Dumai City, which has authorized the author to do practical work. Idris Sardi, SE., as Chief of the Secretariat of the Bureau of the General Elections Supervision Service (BAWASLU) in Dumai City.

In addition to direct observation, as much as possible, actively participate in the field, so that help is expected to solve problems that arise during the implementation of the Job Training, which can improve the skills of the author. The internship is one of the requirements to complete for the next semester. The Department of Commercial Administration is one of the majors at Bengkalis State Polytechnic.

Based on the above, the author as a student of the International Business Administration study program chose to do the Work Training at the Office of. During the implementation of the Job Training, the author was placed in the Public Relations Department.

Practical work can strengthen cooperation and socialization between Bengkalis State Polytechnic and Dumai City Bawaslu office. Realizing the vision and mission of the university to always create students who are able to compete in the world of work. Knowing the scope of students' abilities in applying the acquired knowledge and carrying out evaluation in the academic field for the development and improvement of the quality of education.

Human Resources (HR) in the Dumai City Bawaslu environment is divided into two consisting of elements of management and staff in the secretariat. From the management element, Dumai City Bawaslu has 3 Bawaslu members and 1 secretariat manager. The membership of Dumai City Bawaslu consists of persons tasked with overseeing the conduct of the general election with a total membership of 3 (three) persons consisting of a chairman concurrently a member and 2 (two) other members.

The President and members of Dumai City Bawaslu are assisted by a secretariat in the performance of their duties and powers. Administratively, the Dumai City Secretariat Bawaslu is responsible to the General Secretary RI Bawaslu and functionally responsible to the President of Dumai City Bawaslu. Dumai Bawaslu City Secretariat is headed by the head of the secretariat namely Idris Sardi, H.E.

In order to perform its functions, the Dumai City Bawaslu Secretariat is supported by civil servants and non-government employees. Regarding the organizational structure of the Office of the Election Supervisory Body (BAWASLU) Dumai City as follows.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE BAWASLU DUMAI CITY

Preparation of reports on the results of the supervision of the phases of the general election and elections, annual reports and final reports of the department of supervision, public relations, institutional relations. Completion of the handling of alleged violations of the Code of Ethics by Sub-District Panwaslu, Sub-District/Village Panwaslu and TPS Supervisors;. Preparation of reports on the results of the supervision of the phases of the parliamentary elections and the Election, annual reports and final reports from the Legal Department, Handling of violations and dispute resolution.

Supervision education and training for the ranks of the Sub-district Panwaslu up to TPS Supervisor and Secretariat;. Management of the database for the implementation of duties, authorities and obligations in the Regency/municipal Bawaslu;. Preparation of reports on the phases of the general elections and elections, annual reports and final reports of the Department of Human Resources, Organizations and Data and Information.

Facilitate the implementation of electoral supervision, treatment of electoral violations and dispute resolution of the electoral process; Coordination and guidance in the performance of the tasks of organizational units within the Regency/City Bawaslu Secretariat.

Archiving is an office or administrative work that is mostly performed by all business entities, both in state and private companies. The functions of archives are: As a source of memory for organizations or individuals, if they forget the content of documents or problems that require attention to the content and are related to new problems. Printing is the activity of converting soft copy into hard copy that requires a tool in the form of a printer. Managing incoming and outgoing mail is an activity that facilitates work in an agency or organization.

The purpose of applying a sticker to the folder is to ensure that the letters or documents placed on the folder do not get mixed up or are not the same as other existing letters. Lack of direct involvement in the field during the practical work due to the lack of elections during the practical work. There is no general election that takes place during work practices, so students doing work practices do not gain more experience working in the field.

Work in practice practice uses more manual systems such as archival recording and others.

CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION

Conclusion

The suggestions for the college is to add some more lessons about law because when the author does an internship, the author needs to read more books about the law.
