HUBUNGAN ANTARA SELF DIRECTED LEARNING READINESS (SDLR) DENGAN INDEKS PRESTASI (IP) SEMESTER PERTAMA MAHASISWA FAKULTAS
KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS YARSI TAHUN AKADEMIK 2016/2017 DAN TINJAUANNYA DARI SUDUT PANDANG ISLAM

ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang: Mahasiswa tahun pertama memiliki masalah dalam proses adaptasi terhadap lingkungan belajar yang lebih banyak menuntut untuk belajar mandiri. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pemahaman mengenai faktor internal berupa Self Directed Learning Readiness (SDLR). Mahasiswa dengan SDLR lebih tinggi diharapkan mendapat hasil belajar yang optimal. Evaluasi hasil belajar tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai Indeks Prestasi (IP). Dalam menuntut ilmu, ternyata motivasi dari Allah dan Rasul banyak ditemukan. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang kuat antara Islam, ilmu, dan motivasi menuntut ilmu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara SDLR dengan IP semester pertama mahasiswa FK Universitas YARSI tahun akademik 2016/2017 dan tinjauannya dari sudut pandang Islam.
Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan survey analitik secara cross sectional. Populasi dan sampel adalah mahasiswa semester pertama FK Universitas YARSI tahun akademik 2016/2017.
Pemilihan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan syarat memenuhi kriteria inklusi.
Pengambilan data primer (skor SDLR) dilakukan dengan cara penyebaran kuesioner, pengambilan data sekunder (nilai IP) diperoleh dari arsip Pusat Pendidikan Kedokteran (P2K) Universitas YARSI. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji Chi-square.
Hasil: Terdapat 151 responden (74.75%) dengan skor SDLR kategori tinggi dan 113 responden (55,9%) dengan IP memuaskan. Dari hasil uji statistik menggunakan uji Chi-square didapatkan nilai P = 0,213
Simpulan: Tidak ada hubungan antara SDLR dengan IP semester pertama mahasiswa FK Universitas YARSI tahun akademik 2016/2017. Menurut islam mahasiswa yang beriman akan mentaati aturan Allah, Rasul, dan juga pemimpinnya, termasuk mematuhi aturan Tri Dharma perguruan tinggi serta disiplin dalam perkuliahan. Hal-hal ini dapat menjadikan mahasiswa tersebut mendapat nilai IP yang lebih baik melalui doa dan usahanya sendiri, sebagaimana disebutkan dalam Q.S. Ar-Ra’d (13) ayat 11 “Sesungguhnya Allah tidak mengubah keadaan suatu kaum sehingga mereka mengubah keadaan yang ada pada diri mereka sendiri”.

THE RELATION BETWEEN SELF DIRECTED LEARNING READINESS (SDLR) WITH GRADE POINT (GP) IN THE FIRST SEMESTER AT MEDICAL
STUDENTS FACULTY OF MEDICINE YARSI UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC YEAR 2016/2017 AND ITS ISLAMIC VIEWS

ABSTRACT
Background: First year students have problems in the adaptation to the learning environment that more demands for independent learning. Therefore, it requires an understanding of internal factors in the form of Self Directed Learning Readiness (SDLR). Students with higher SDLR are expected to have optimal learning outcomes. Evaluation of learning outcomes can be seen from the Grade Point (GP). In studying, it turns out the motivation of Allah and Rasul are found. It shows a strong correlation between Islam, science, and the motivation to study. This study aims to determine the relation between SDLR with GP in the first semester at medical students Faculty of Medicine Yarsi University academic year 2016/2017 and Its Islamic views.
Methods: This study was done by analytical survey approach with cross sectional. Population and sample were first semester students of Faculty of Medicine YARSI University in academic year 2016/2017. The sample was selected by using total sampling with the inclusion criterias as the requirement. Primary data (SDLR score) was collected by spreading the questionnaire, secondary data (GP score) was obtained from the archives of Medical Education Centre (P2K) of YARSI University. Data analysis was done by Chi-square test.
Results: There were 151 respondents (74.75%) with high category of SDLR scores and 113 respondents (55.9%) with satisfactory GP. From statistical tests results using Chi-square test obtained P value = 0.213
Conclusions: There is no relation between SDLR with GP in the first semester at medical students of Faculty of Medicine YARSI University academic year 2016/2017. According to Islam, the faithful students will obey the rules of Allah, Rasul, and also their leaders, including obeying the Tri Dharma rules of college, and discipline in lectures. These things can make the student get a better GP score through his or her own prayer and effort, as mentioned in Q.S. Ar-Ra'd (13) verse 11 ” Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves”.
