Summary of Assessment Report of the RSPO Certification

A review of documents showed that in June 2019, the company sent all hazardous waste (including medical waste) to PT Amindy Barokah (collector licensed by decree of the National Minister of Environment). Observation during audits at the temporary storage of hazardous waste showed that all hazardous waste was in compliance with the permit period. All containers of ex chemicals were stored in a temporary hazardous storage facility at CWT (Central Workshop Technic) and the company has a hazardous waste storage permit issued by the Tapanuli Selatan Head of Regent Decree No.

The company already has mechanism related to hazardous waste management, listed on the procedures SOP-EHS-009 in 2015 and the waste management plan procedures SOP-EHS-008 in 2018. Company has developed a management plan to follow up an annual evaluation/review, supported by budget and responsible officers in its implementation. This plan is informed about the positive and negative impact, including management plan timeframe and the person in charge for the activity, such as: community perception, workers facilities,. The company carried out a disclosure of liability for ANJ Agri which was submitted to RSPO on 16 July 2014, while LUCA was submitted to RSPO on 24 August 2015. PT ANJ Agri Siais carried out a disclosure of liability and analysis of LUC in accordance with the 2015 RSPO template .Intensive communication between the company is shown with the RSPO for the compensation commission regarding the progress of LUCA for PT ANJ Agri Siais.

The company has had a mechanism for dealing with land disputes, described in the SOP of Handling Differences Opinion with the Community and Dispute Tenure (SOP- Leg-03, Issue 01, dated 1 September 2015). Facilitating the contractor to report the contactor working in the company together with the work agreement to the Labor Office. The company has not been able to ensure that the PPE provided is in accordance with the results of the HIRA (Hazard Identification & . Risk Analysis) and is available to all workers.

Reports must be regularly reported by the company to the relevant agencies in accordance with applicable regulations. There were no issues or events related to environmental pollution that occurred in the company's territory. All workers are included in the BPJS Health and Employment program by the company.
