RC The assessment was carried out by measuring the adequacy of implementation with the consistency done by the PT Tapian Nadenggan & PT BAS - Golden Agri Resources Ltd (GAR) to the requirements of Indonesian. There is no change in the policy of business ethics code of the company approved by VPA on August 1, 2014, which consists of 4 credits. The policy was written in Indonesian language and was socialized to workers and other stakeholders. The result of interview with the management is known that the certificate holder implemented the fertilization program well in 2017 according to the recommendation issued by SMARTRI based on the analysis of leaf and soil.
Based on interviews with mill and property workers, it is known that CH already knows the procedure on working environment. Based on interview with the village head of Pantap and Biru Maju, it is known that CH has socialized the procedure. Based on document review by SMLE, SMLM, MNDE and PURE, it is known that there is no complaint yet.
On the basis of interviews with field workers, the gender committee member and management informed that there is no question of sexual harassment. Based on interview with employee and the villagers concluded that they knew this ethical policy. Based on field visit and interview with village representative it is known that CH is not yet carrying out relocation activities. Based on interview with village head of Pantap and Biru Maju, it is known that the CH village involved in SIA, therefore all issues were identified by certificate holders on SIA.

Land rights process is still ongoing and there is a detail update progress documented by the company for each year. The company communicated with RSPO Secretariat (Mrs Khing Suli) dated 27 April 2018, the answers are certificate of RSPO PT BAS and PT TN can continue with notes. The fire fighting equipment of the company is sufficient and last year there was no problem regarding ground fires occurring in PT Tapian Nadenggan area.
The company already has legalities related to environmental issues such as environmental documents (EIA), land application permits and hazardous waste storage. The company has completed environmental management plan reporting – environmental monitoring plan every semester, reports on liquid waste and hazardous waste management periodically. The company has provided free PPE to employees and has conducted periodic health checks for high-risk workers.
The company has the support of the gender committee by providing a special room for the meeting hall and other purposes of activities (Posyandu, socialization, etc.). The company is considered quite open in terms of discussing the increase or adjustment of the price of the labor contract, for example in relation to the increase in the price of oil. All workers' wages have been paid in accordance with government regulations. There are no negative conditions regarding environmental pollution in the area of companies entering the environmental service. The auditor has verified the management and monitoring of the environment carried out by the certificate holder, the explanation regarding the environmental aspect is shown in the criterion.
All women in PT BAS and PT TN (employee and non-employee) are part of the gender committee's concern. It has been reported that there is no case of sexual harassment and violence in both PT TN and PT BAS. The working time is made based on the bulk system, that is, until all the FFB harvested are all transported to the Factory.
