Scope of The Research
The research results show that students' speaking skills improved through the use of the Numbered Heads Together strategy. 1 The average score and improvement in students' speaking skills in terms of self-confidence. The average score in relation to smoothness of the students in the pre-test was categorized as Average (5.86).
This means that using the Numbered Together Heads strategy for treatment improved students' speaking ability in terms of fluency. Based on the data in the pre-test and post-test, there was an improvement in the speaking ability of the students. She witnessed significant improvement in students' speaking skills in terms of confidence and fluency using the Heads Counted Together strategy at SMP Negri 3 Polongbngkeng Utara.
Based on the above result, we can conclude that the implementation of the Numbered Heads Together strategy improved students' speaking ability in terms of self-confidence and calmness. Speaking Skill
According to Hornby in Nursyamsi (2010) said that fluency is the quality or state of being fluent. It is clear that trust is the ways in which we feel about what we are going through and also our perception of how effectively we interact with others.
Numbered Heads Together Strategy
Cooperative learning here emphasizes goal achievement and group success more. Meanwhile, according to Lie, cooperative learning is a teaching model that encourages students to learn and work in small.
Conceptual Framework
Research Hypothesis
Recorder: The researcher used a record test to measure students' speaking with confidence and fluency. The test was designed to find the students' speaking improvement in relation to the numbered heads together. It is conducted as instrumentation to collect data on students' scores in pre-test and post-test.
The first oral test (pre-test) aimed to know the students' speaking ability before the study was carried out. The students' result in the pre- and post-test of the students' performance improved, which was 17.78% in terms of confidence and 13.82% in terms of fluency. The data showed that the implementation of Numbered Heads Together strategy at the eighth grade of SMP Negri 3 Polongbangkeng Utara in speaking improved students' speaking skills in terms of confidence and fluency.
This means that there was a significant difference between the students' speaking skill before and after researcher used Numbered Heads Together Strategy at SMP Negri 3 Polongbangkeng Utara. This was supported by average scores and percentage of the students' pre-test and post-test results.
METHOD
Research Design
The group was given the pre-test before giving the treatment, and the post-test was given after the treatment applied, the illustration of the design as follows. O1: pre-test, the pre-test is the test given to the students before they are treated. The researcher gave the speaking test to the students to know their improvement.
After taking the pretest, the student was treated using the Heads Together Strategy. a. The teacher gives explanations about the material and how to apply the rules in the classroom. O2: post-test, post-test is the post-treatment test for students, the researcher gives a similar test as given in the pre-test.
Posttest was the last test given to all students after they received treatment (Numbered Heads Together strategy). It was carried out to know the final score of the students and to know the ability of each student after they have received treatment.

The Population And Sample
Instrument of The Research
The researcher does not include content, because when observation shows that confidence and smoothness much less than content. The test is organized to help the researcher and make it easier to give the assessment to the students for the use of Number Heads together strategy in speaking skill.
Data Collection
Technique of Data Analyzing
The average scores in terms of confident students in the pre-test were categorized as The average score was (5.96). The graph above shows that there was an improvement in students' speaking in terms of confidence from pretest with a mean score of 5.96 to posttest with a mean score of 7.02. The implementation of the Numbered Heads Together strategy in the eighth grade of SMP Negri 3 Polongbangkeng Utara School resulted in the improvement of students' speaking skills.
The Numbered Heads Together strategy resulted in students having an average score that was higher in speaking ability than before they learned the Numbered Heads Together strategy. Based on the above findings in implementing the strategy along with head count in the classroom, the data was collected from the text as the explanation in the previous section of the findings showed that the students' speaking ability in terms of fluency improves significantly. This means that the implementation of Heads Counted Together strategy in SMP Negri 3 Polongbangkeng Utara was a success in making students improve their speaking skills in terms of fluency.
This means that there was a significant difference between students' speaking skill before and after they received the Numbered Heads Together strategy from the researcher in speaking skill in terms of confidence and fluency at SMP Negri 3 Polongbangkeng Utara. Future researchers may use experimental research to determine whether using the Numbered Heads Together strategy improves students' self-confidence and poise.
AND DISCUSSIONS
Findings
The research findings cover the results of the data collected through the speaking test. Mean post-test self-esteem scores were categorized as good or the score was (7.02). The mean smoothness score in the post-test was categorized as good or was a score of (6.67).
The average score in the pre-test was 5.86, this caused that most students still cannot speak fluently. Post-test score was higher than pre-test score so the improvement from pre-test to post-test was 13.82%. The researcher used t-test analysis at the level of significance (p) 0.05 with the degree of freedom (df) = N-1, where N = number of students (24 students) and then the value of t-table was 1,714.
Discussion
It was shown that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted. Speaking skills in terms of self-confidence were about the mental process that made a person strong to take action or take action by speaking without action. Kapele and Erika (1987: 87). Mira (2011) states that self-confidence is the feeling of being confident in your abilities, just as you feel confident when people or students can think on their feet.
During the first meeting, when the researcher administered a pre-test, it seemed that most of the students could not feel confident about themselves. The score from pre-test to post-test, there was an improvement in students' score from low to high by implementing the Numbered Heads Together strategy. The data in Table 4.2 showed that the smoothness score improved from 5.86 in the pre-test mean score to 6.67.
After calculating scores between pre-test and post-test scores, researcher found that students' skills improved which should be 13.82% from average score 5.86 in pre-test to 6.67 in post-test. After calculating the value t-test analysis, it was compared with the t-table value, so the researcher found that the value of the t-test was greater than the t-table value, it means that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and alternative hypothesis ( H1) was accepted because there was a difference between a significant mean score of test given by the researcher before and after the researcher's thought speaking skill in terms of confidence and fluency by implementing Numbered Heads Together strategy.
Conclusion
This chapter consists of two sections; one is conclusion, which is based on the research findings and the discussions.
Suggestion
It is suggested that English teachers apply the Numbered Heads Together strategy as one of the alternative strategies in teaching speaking skills. Students are expected to increase their intensity in learning speaking through the Numbered Heads Together strategy. It is suggested that English teachers maximize English speaking ability in guiding students in the process of learning and teaching speaking.
