I.- Memorandum- of Agreement with Department of Nat- ural Resourcesf~r_.the Conduct of a Research Project on Eucheuma
A memorandum 'of- agreement was entered into between' the University and the Department of Natural Resources, whereby the University, through the Marine Sciences Center-shall conduct a research project for the; develop- ment of Bucneuma processing technology, consisting of- three phases and for a period of three years.
2. Memorandum .'of Agreement with National l\olonpQwer and Youth Council
A memorandum of agreement was' entered. into between the University and the National Manpower and Youth Council, whereby the University Press shall undertake the Manpower Development Publication Program of the NMYC. T4e, agreement is from .February 1, 1975 to June 30, 1975" renewable, at the option of both parties.
3. Agl'eement'with Bread' for th.e WOI'lll (Germany) . An' agreement was entered into between the Bread for the World (Germany) and the University for the project
"Nutrition Research-cum-Action Programme FPC' (Fish Protein' Concentrate)J1 under a grant from the former at the Institute of Social Work and Community 'Develop- ment. The project hopes to help the nation and society evolve a nutrition policy that feeding the needy in our society should be a social responsibility.
4. Memorandum of Agreement with Provincial Go\"Crn.
ment of Quezon
A memorandum of agreement was entered into between the Provincial Government of Quezon and the University of the Philippines whereby the University through the Local Government Center of the College of Public Ad- ministration will conduct a study on the internal organi- zation and management of the provincial government, its departments, and offices, and personnel administration and practices under a grant from the Provincial Govern- ment.
The agreement is for four (4) months, subject to exten- sion for another period of two (2) months as the need arises.
5. Contract with Overseas Agricuhural Development COl·- poration
Negotiated renewal of contracts was entered into by the University with the Overseas Agricultural Develop- ment Corporation as lessee for the lease of a crepeing battery and two drying sheds and with Mr. Gregorio Ramos for the processing of coconuts into copra at the Basilan Land Grant.
6. Agreement with Bureau of Vocnlional Education (BVE) An agreement was entered into between the Univer- sity and the Bureau of Vocational Education for t.he conduct of the U.P.-BVE Health Education Teacher 'I'rain- ing Program in the College of Education.
The program is aimed at improving health education and its supervision in' vocational schools through .,'ad- vanced training for teachers, instructors, 'coordinators.t physicians, n,urses and dentists.

?nallndustry (BAIL the Burea,u of Vocationa,l Education (BVE) and the F AO Regional Dairy Development Train- ing Center (RDDTC) for Asia and the Far E<U1t.
The Agreement provides that the BAI, BVE, RDDTC and the UPLB shall cooperate with one another to facili- tate the rapid promotion and development of the dairy industry through training courses, the expenses of which shall be borne jointly by the parties. Participants in the training courses, not exceeding 30 per year, shall come from the agricultural and vocational schools and colleges.
The agreement is for three (3) years, effective upon signing thereof, subject to renewal for such additional period upon agreement of the parties.

NaturalResources/Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DNR/BFAR) , the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC), and the Philippine Council for Agricultural Research (PCAR), whereby the three institutions, .desirous of strengthening Philippine fisheries research institutions through a staff development -program, are establishing graduate and un-dergraduate fellowship study grants.i at the University in the fields of fisheries, economics, agr-ibusiness, fisheries business management, marine biology, oceanography, met- eorology, fishpond engineering, and food technology avail- able in the following colleges: Fisheries, Business Admin- istration, Arts and,Sciences, Engineering and Home Eco- nomics.
3. Memorandum of AgJ'Jeement for the Training of Para- medic Workcrs in PHa, Laguna
A memorandum of agreement was entered into by the Comprehensive Community Health Program with the U.P.
Social Laboratory, the Pila Rural Health Unit, the Pila Municipal Council, the Association of Barangay Captains and the Federation of Samahang Nayons in connection
with the training and utilization of paramedic workers in Pila, Laguna, for a period of five (5) years.

A memorandum of agreement was entered into between the Department of Local Government and Community Development and the University, through the Local Gov- ernment Center of the. College of Public Administration, whereby the Local Government Center will formulate and prepare model organization plans for provincial, city and municipal governments"
5. Memorandum of Agreement with th-e National Science Development Board (NSDB)
A memorandum of agreement was entered into between the National Science Development Board (NSDB) and the University, through the Science Education Center, for the project entitled "A Seminar Workshop on Environ- mental Science for Elementary and Secondary Teachers."
6. Memorandum of Agr,eement with De La Salle College A memorandum of agreement was entered into between De La Salle College and the University, whereby, in pur- suance of the consortium agreement among the De La Salle College, the U.P. and the Ateneo University, the De La Salle College agrees to make available to the D.P.
College in Manila lecture and laboratory facilities for a chemistry course, subject to certain terms and conditions, effective April 17, 1975 until May 20, 1975.
