The study aimed to

identi$ the

subjective knowledge of persons

with

elevated blood glucose

level

regarding

their

prescribed

diet.

The researcher

utilized Qmethodology.

The reseacher conducted

interviews with

25

participants

regarding

their viewpoints

about their prescribed

diet, they

have sorted

out

statements, and the researcher analyzed

the

data using PQmethod

in order to

come up

with

factors representing the diverse

viewpoints of each

participants.

Seven factors were

identified

by the researchers: Factor

I

(Ifuowledge on

how

to manage diabetes

through proper diet),

Factor 2 (

Limiting

food consumption

for the better),

Factor 3 (

Nutritious

foods is

all I

need

in

my diet), factor 4 ( Psychological effect to persons having diabetes), Factor 5 (Proper understanding

regarding prescribed

diet

to persons diagnosed

with

diabetes), Factor 5 ( Health seeking behavior of patients diagnosed

with

diabetes) and Factor 7 ( Proper awareness and

right rttitude

towards dieO.
