本研究目的主要探討12週彼拉提斯運動介入對中年婦女身體組成、身體活 動量、基礎代謝率與體能的改善成效。結論如下:

一、 中年婦女在12週彼拉提斯運動介入後在體重、BMI、體脂肪率、下肢 肌肉率有顯著改善成效。

二、 中年婦女在12週彼拉提斯運動介入後在身體活動量無顯著改善成效。

三、 中年婦女在12週彼拉提斯運動介入後在基礎代謝率有顯著改善成效。

四、 中年婦女在12週彼拉提斯運動介入後在體能 (柔軟度、肌耐力、下肢 肌力、敏捷性和動態平衡) 有顯著改善成效。

隨著年齡增加,會伴隨著多項身體結構的改變以及生理機能的衰退,身體組 成的改變會造成基礎代謝率的下滑,肌肉量的減少會影響到體能狀態,而健康的 體能是日常身體活動能力的基礎,身體活動量會影響個體功能活動表現,適當的 身體活動可以保持身體各部位器官和機能的有效運作,減緩身體功能的退化, 因 此,身體組成、身體活動量、基礎代謝率與體能之間環環相扣、相互影響;中年 時期若擁有較佳的體能,在進入老人期時,能夠耗費較少的體力來應付相同量與 強度的身體活動,以增進獨立的自理能力,促使成功的老化 (successful aging)。

本研究採用彼拉提斯運動介入,結果對中年婦女的身體組成、基礎代謝率與體能 有改善之成效,建議未來可進一步的將彼拉提斯運動推廣於老年人族群以促進老 年人之健康。
