Rearing density is one of the important factors that strongly effect on growth rale, survival rate and reanng efficiency of many aquatic species as well as Ben Tre clams This study presents the results on ^ects of four densities (3.000, 4.000, 5 000 and 6.000 individuaUm'in order to identify the suitable density for rearing this species in pond The study was conducted from May to August. 2012 in brackishwater pond belonged to Dong Minh village. Hen Hai district.

Thai Binh province. Results showed that the clams reared at the density of 3,000 individual/m' was highest of relative growth rate in length and weight (0.92%/day and I 59%/day. respectively (p<0.05) There were no significant differences in relative growth rate in length and weight between the density of 4,000 individuaUm^ (0.77%/day: 1.43%/day) and 5000 individual/m' (0.8%/day; 1.46%/day) bul there were significant differences when compared to those in desity of 3,000 individual^ and 6,000 mdividual/m'. This clams reared at ihe densities of3.000 individual/m' was highest (92%) and lowest al density of 6,000 individual/m' (88%). From this result, it could be suggested that the most suitable density for rearing Ihe Ben Tre clams in pond should be less than 5,000 individual/m' in order to optimize the growth, survival rate of seed.

2. Vat lieu nghien ciru

Ddi tuang nghien cii^u: Ngheu Ben Tre {Meretrix lyrata) duae mua tir Ben Tre ve. Cd ngheu gidng thd ban diu 40.000 con/kg, chieu ddi dao ddng tir 2,93 ± 0,14 den 3,43 ± 0,13 mm. Ngheu dugc uang trong ao nudc Ig c6 didn tich 2.000 m^/ao nen day ao dugc cai tgo, bo sung cat min. Chit day cd t^ Id cat/biin la 88 , 12%.

3. Phuang phdp bo tri thi nghidm

Thi nghigm anh hudng eOa mgt dp dugc bd trf d 4 nghiem thi>e cd mat dO uang khac nhau Id:

3.000, 4.000, 5,000, 6 000 eon/m^ trong dien tich 50 m'. Cac nghigm thire dugc ldp lai 3 lan va giua cac nghidm thuc duge ngan edeh bdng xam ludi {Politylen) ed mat ludi 2a = 2,5 - 3,0 mm.

4. Phueng phap thu thap sd l i f u

Cac yeu td moi trudng nhu nhiet dp, pH, dp trong, dp sdu, do man duge duge do tgi hien trudng tgi 3 diem khde nhau trong ao nuoi.

4.1. Phirong phip thu vi phan tich miu thuc i^l phOdu

Phuang phdp thu vd phdn tich mdu ttiuc i4t phu du theo Hallegraeff (manual for harmul algae study-UNESCO).

So lieu dugc x u ly bang phan mem Microsotf Excel 2003 vd SPSS 16.0. So 1i$u dugc trinh bay dudi dang trung binh ± dp lech chuan (SD) va dugc phdn tich bang phuang phap ANOVA mpt nhdn td.

Su sai khac giira cac nghiem thue duge so sdnh theo phuang phap Duncan (p < 0.05).

III. K £ T Q U A N G H I D N c i > u v A T H A O L U A N 1. Dilu kien moi t r v a n g ao nuoi

Sau 3 thang, ty Id cdt/biin tgi ao dao dgng tir 88 -12% tdi 84:16%. K i t qua ndy do lugng phu sa cd trong nude bien dua vao ao nudi trong qua trinh thay nudc.

Qua bang 2 ta thay, cdc thdng so mdi trudng nam trong pham vi thich hgp eho sg sinh trudng vd phdt triln cua nghdu [2], [5].

Nhiet dp nude trung binh trong qua trinh thi nghiem la 31,96 ± 2,7''C. nam trong khoang nhidt dp sdng ciia ngheu tir 13 - 40°C nhung khdng phai Id nhiet dp thi'ch hgp nhit. nghdu Ben Tre
