ABSTRACT The article presents results of the researching on solution of stiffen- ers design to Increase the stability ofAustrallan technology HFB. The authors calculated distorslonal buckling moment and designing bending moment of stiffners HFB In comparison to non-stiffeners HFB to clarify advantages of the

stiffeners forming to Increase the stability as well as the bear- ing capacity of HFB. On the other hand, the designing of stiffners Is also calculated according to local buckling condition due to shears or due to reactions at supports as well as conditions for guarantee- ing the buckling for self-stiffners.

The researching results give reasonable factors for designing stiffners such as: Form, type of connection to HFB, dimensions, density, distance and strength of stiffners.

1. Dat van de

Dam thep tiet dien chd I eanh rdng theo cdng nghe Uc (Hollow Flange Beam - viet tat la HFB) la loai tiet dien mdi, hinh dang die biet chd I, ddi xdng kep theo hai true x-x va y-y, gdm hai cinh rdng tam giie lien ke't han vdi b i n bung. 2. SU can thiet cau tao siidn tang cUcrng on dinh cho dam HFB

2.1. Moi quan he giCta bai toan on dinh & bai todn ben

- Cich lien ke't sudn vao d i m : Sudn h i n vdi bpng; han vdi eanh dam hoac han vdi ea bung va eanh

- Khoing cich sUdn (a) hay m i t dp sudn (a/d) (d: chieu eao bung dam).

- Kieh thudc sUdn (chieu rdng sudn bs va be day sUdn t^): Be rdng sudn chpn theo cau tao de truyen lpc deu nen lay bang dp vuon eua cinh b^ = (B-t)/2. Do dd dai lUpng can xet la be d i y sUdn (ts)
