Abstract

This paper presents the synthesis route, the properties of the polynaphthylamine (PNA)/Fe304 nanocomposites and their adsorption studies of arsenic (III) removal from water. Microstructure and morphology of the nanocomposites with the polymer contents of 0 %, 5 % and 10 % and 15 % have been investigated by measurements: X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), SEM, TEM, Raman scattering spectram. The studied results showed that the size of nanocomposite particles was about 20 nm. The saturation magnetization of the samples had values of about 45-65 emu/g as measured by vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The investigations of isothermal adsorption process and influences of pH to arsenic adsorpUon capacity showed that the nanocomposite materials with appropriate polymer componcriis have good arsenic adsorption ability in water.

Vgt li?u nano tir tinh Fe304 pha tgp cac kim logi chuyen tiep dugc quan tfim nghien ciru [1-3] do chung cd irng dyng trong nhieu linh vuc: luu trii thdng tin, myc in, nam cham tir mem, dieu trj ung thu, sieu fim tir tinh,.... Cac hgt nano the hien nhiing tinh chfit dge biet khi di?n tich be mat rieng ciia chiing tang len. Khi dd cac tinh chfit di^n, tir thay ddi dang k^ do hieu irng lugng tu kich thudc hat. Ddng thdi, cfic hgt cd xu hudng chuyen den cac trgng thai nfing lugng ty do cyc tieu qua mgt sd hinh thai nhu:

chuyen pha, mgc mam tir cfic tam ket tinh, thay ddi cfiu triic be mat, ket dam, va hap thy be mat [4, 5].

2. THUC NGHIEM 2.1. Nguyen lieu ban dau

Dung dich HCl 37 %, NajSO,, dung dich Nib dam dac, FeCl3.6H20, axeton 99 %, isopropanol (CH3)2CH0H; naphtylamin CjofLNH, 99 %, (NH4)2S20s (APS). Sau khi riia nhieu lan bfing nudc cat va axeton, hgt nano sat tir dugc lam khd trong chan khdng trong 5 gid, ap suat dudi 1 mPa vfi 0 nhiet do -40 °C. Sfin phfim khd nay dugc nghien nhd do Ifi hat nano Fej04.

2.3. Tong hgp nanocompozit PNA/Fe304 Tdng hgp nanocompozit PNA/FcsO^ bang phuong phfip triing hgp tgi chd theo cac budc nhu sau:

- Lay mpt lupng chinh xfic ciia Fe304 cho vao 100 mL nudc cat. Them vao lan lupt 40 mL isopropanol, khdi lupng chinb xac naphtylamin va khuay manh trong 1 gid,

- Lpc Ifiy phan bgt, sau do say khd bfing may ddng cd Labconco (My) trong 5 gid, fip suat dudi 1 mPa d nhi?t dg-40 °C.

3. KET QUA VA THAO LUAN

Dung dich As gdc gap khofing 10 lfin tieu chufin cho phep (Tieu chufin cua bd y te cho phep trong nudc sinh hogt ndng do asen (III) tdi da la 0,01 mg/L tuong duong 10 ppb) nhu sau:

- Dinh mirc bang nudc cfit 2 lan vdi ndng dp asen Ifi 0,1 mg/L, day la dung dich gdc chufin diing de nghien ciru sy bfip phy trong dung dich cd dp pH khfic nhau.

- Cfin khoi lupng 0,01 g vat lieu hap phu cho vao 100 mL dung dich asen gdc, diing may khuay d6 cac hgt nano tir ti'nh phfin tan deu vao dung dich.
