This study aims to examine factors affecting local people's entrepreneurial intention in Soc Trang city. Basedonasurvey of 135 local people in Soc Trang and using Cronbach's Alpha test, exploratory factor analysis and linear regression model, the result clarifies six determinants including (1) Opportunity self-exploring behavior; (2) Knowledge and entrepreneurhip skills;

(3) Creativity and Adaptability; (4) Business capital; (5) Risk taking; (6) and Flexibility.

The implications of this study contribute greatly to the encouragement of local people's entrepreneurial spirit.

KET QUA NGHIEN CL/U
