EFFICACY OF USING SIMULATION FOR TRAINING UNDERGRADUATE NURSING STUDENTS IN NAM DINH UNIVERSITY OF NURSING

ABSTRACT

Objects: To evaluate the effectiveness of simulation technique in training of clinical skills for novice bachelor nursing students. Methods: The one group pre- test and post-test educational inten/ention combined with the qualitative survey with structured interview. Pre- and post- intervention evaluation tools Included:

Nursing Knowledge Questionnaire; National League of Nursing Questionnaires (NLN, 2005) and Creighton Simulation Evaluation Instrument Descriptive and paired t-test statistical methods used for quantitative data analysis and contents analysis used for qualitative data. Conclusions: Simulation technique significantly Improved the students' pertormance skills, critical thinking skills, satisfaction, self-confidence and nursing competency. A further study on all nursing student levels should be conducted to more fully evaluate the effectiveness of simulation technique at the Pre-elinical practice Center.

Tai Viet Nam, da ed nhieu ngdnh nghien cdu ve hidu qua cua phuang phap md phdng trong thyc hanh vd phat trien nghi nghidp.

Tuy nhidn, doi vdi ngdnh khoa hpc sdc khde mac du da cd nhilu trudng eung nhu benh vidn ap dyng phuong phap md phdng de dao tgo vd ndng eao tay nghi eho cae doi tugng cung d p dich vu cham sdc sue khde, nhung hilm tim thay nhung nghien edu lien quan din ITnh vyc md phdng vdi phat triln va thyc hdnh nghi nghidp. Dac biet, vdi nganh dilu dudng thi chua ed nghien edu ehinh thdc nao danh gia ve hidu qua cua viec sd dyng md phdng d i i vdi kit qua hpc tgp, dac bidt la nang lyc thyc hanh nghd didu dudng cua sinh vien [1], [2]. Vi vdy, de danh gia mdc dp hidu qua cua phuang phap md phdng khi ap dyng vdi doi tugng sinh vien dgi hpe dieu dudng chfnh quy, tu dd d l t^n dyng toi da hi#u qua vd khde phye nhung nhugc dilm eua phuang phap nay tgi trudng Dai hpc Oilu dudng Nam Djnh thi nghidn cdu "t^ng dung phwang phap md phdng trong dio tao cO' nhin diiu dwang tai truang Dal hgc Diiu dirang Nam 0/n/j" thyc sy mang tfnh cap thiet. 2. 0 6 l TU'P'NG VA PHU'aNG PHAP NGHIEN CCrU

2.1. Doi tugng, thdi gian va dja diem nghien cuu: 80 sinh vidn dai hpe dieu dudng chfnh quy khda 10 dugc chpn tham gia nghien edu trong thang 10 nam 2016 tgi Trung tdm thye hanh Tien lam sang, trudng Dgi hpc Dieu dudng Nam Djnh

2.2. Phuxi'ng phap nghien cdu 2.2.1 Thiet ke nghien ciru: Nghien edu can thiep mdt nhdm cd so sdnh trudc sau kit hgp vdi khao sdt dmh tinh.

2.2.2 Cong cu nghien ciru:

4. BAN LUAN

Qua phdn tieh du ligu ve quan dilm cua sinh vien va danh gia cua giang vien cho thiy hieu qua cua phuang phap md phdng trong dao tgo ^ l u dudng tgi trung tam thyc hanh Tien Idm sang the hien d vide eai thien ky nang thyc hanh, ky nang tu duy tich eye va sy hdi Idng, ty tin vdi hpc tdp theo quan diem eua sinh vien vd ndng cao nang lyc lam sang eua sinh vidn theo sy ddnh gia eua giang vidn, tuy nhien kit qua nghien edu cho thiy thye hanh vdi md phdng khdng lam tang kien thdc dilu dudng eua sinh vien. 4.1. Kiln thdc dieu duang cua sinh vien qua md phdng.
