Abstract Ha Noi and HCM city are two large urban high natural levels are relatively low and prone to flooding, especially when heavy rains or high tides. Currently the municipality is implementing the project on the high rail (underground passages) and subway. The construction and use this project that changed the geological environment, leading to land subsidence. Without the calculations and prevention, this phenomenon easily disrupt the balance ofthe system infrastructure in urban and spatial planning which is very weak at present.

Therefore forecasting land subsidence phenomenon by underground excavation IS essential, in order to take measures to prevent and minimize the harm caused by this phenomenon.
