THE COMPOSITION OF ROTIFERA IN THE AQUACULTURE PONDS ALONG THE HAU RTVER Le Hoang Vu, Hua Ngoc Anh, Vu Ngoc Ut Summary
The ;iNsrss in (iivin.iiy of species composiUon. the disUibulion of Rotifera in fish ponds along Hau nver and thereby determine the density and size of Rotifera in the wild lo serve providing a variety of natural food sources in seed producUon, the direction of diversifting breeding species, increasing the suivival rate of aquaculturo in the Mekong Delta nver. The implementation period is from March to June 2018 with 19 fish ponds, includmg fish ponds along Hau nver. QualitaUve and quanUtative samples of zooplankton were collected 2 samples in ihe pond. Phase 1 from the time of slocking to 15 days and phase 2 from before 15 days of harvest. 'V\\v results identified have 45 species, which the most dominant species are Brachionus 10 specii-^ (1'2%), Kerateila 7 sr)ecies (16%). Finilia 4 species (9%), Polyarthra 3 species (7%), Trichpcerca 2
•^pities (4%) and Ihe other species have 1 species (2%). The species composition in the sampling pond has ninging from 1-Z\ species, which Brachionus nibens is the most dominant species with the length average value IS 196±31 pm and the width average value is 148+7 pm. Rotifera density in all sampling ponds ranged from 3'10,615-l,<l,'jJ..|4(i individuals/m'. The value Shanon-Wiener diversity index of ponds sampled through 2 survey periods ranged from 0.15-0.29.
