ABSTRACT:
The study identifies factors affecting the compHance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Tra Vinh Province with corporate income tax regulations, thereby proposing some impbcations to improve the lax compbance spirit of SMEs in Tra Vinh Province. The study's results show that there are seven significant factors affecting the compliance of SMEs in Tra Vinh Province with corporate income tax regulations, namely tax rates, tax checks and penalbes, simplicity of tax declaration, propagating and supporting taxpayers. Government policies and the effectiveness of public spending, tax knowledge and business characteristics. There are six out of these seven factors having impacts in the same direcdon while there is only one out of these seven factors having opposite effects. In addition, the study found that the factor of the role, status and reputation of company is not statistically significant.
