There was a fairly good attendance of members at the Annual General Meeting of the Woodstock and Salt Hiver Branch, held in the rralmud Torah Hall on Thursday evening, the 4th March. Mrs. B. Bloch was in the chair.

'l'h Financial Report was then read by the Treasurer and confirmed.
Mrs. Mov ovic remark d it was not habitual for her to congratulate any Com- mitt e on their work, but n thi occa ion the individual excellence of each item on the Heport showed a very fine year of activity. She al o remarked on the satis- factory manner in which this Branch kepi in constant touch with the Cenhal Com- mittee and urged members to continue doing so.

The Annual General Meeting of the Oranjezicht Branch 1vas held at the home of Mrs. E. Sterner, Cornwallis House, on Thursday afternoon, March 4th, 1937.
The Chairlady, Mrs. M. ] ig, welcomed Mrs. Movsoyic, Chairlady of the Bnoth Zion Association, Branch representatives and members-the latter rather fewer in number than is usual at these meetings.
Mrs. Fig gaye a resume of the year's activities, which included 'l'he Mayfair, Keren Hayesod, J.N.F. and Box Clearances, and gave the principal figures in connection with these fund , which were very atis- factory.
1'he Chairlady thanked the outgoing Committee for their willing co-operation in the work, and the election then took place, resulting as follows :- Mrs. D. Zuckerman ( Ohairlady), Mrs. B. Jacobson and Mrs. H.

Ort-Oze Campaign.
Dr. A. 8yngalowl"ki addressed a well- attended meeting at Pa row on \Y ednesday, 3rd inst. He spoke on the position of Jews in Europe and the work of the Ort-Oze.
Mr. B. L. Rubik, who accompanied Dr.
8yngalmrski, ahio appealed for support for the Campaign.
l\Ir. l\1. Daitsh was in the chair.

The marriage of Gertie, daughter of Mr.
and l\Irs. Solomon Rabinowitz, of N amaqua- land, to Mr. Dworsky, of Tel Aviv, took place at the Gardens Synagogue on Sunday, February 28th.
Rev. A. P. Bender, assisted by Rev.
F.i.rschner, officiated. The ReTVice was fully choral and Mr. Boris Rome rendered a solo.
The unterfuhrer~ were Mr. and Mrs.
Rabinowitz and ~fr. and Mrs. Cohen.
l\fr. A. Cohen 1va the bestman and the pole-holders were Me srs. D. Barenblatt, B.
Rabinowitz, D. Borok, and l\L Cohen.

A reception was held after the ceremony at the Zioni t Hall. A large number of guests were present, including many from up-country.
Mr. Barenblatt pTOposed the toast of the bride and bridegroom, to which the latter suitably responded.
Rev. M. J. ohen proposed the toast of the parents and unterfuhrern. Mr. Habino·
witz suitably responded.
Dr. I. :M. Hurwitz proposed the toast of Eretz Israel and announced that :Mr.

of the bride and bridegroom in th, Goldrn Book. He dwelt on l\lr. Habinowitz's in·
terest in Zionism and on Mr. Dworsky's connection with Eretz Israel. He al~o
referred to the high esteem in which the Rabinowitz family were held in N amaqua·
land.
Dr. W. P. 'teenkamp, M.P., replied and gave very interesting impressions of hi recent visit to Eretz Israel. He paid a tribute to l\fr. and l\frs. Rabinowitz and announced that Mr. Rabinowitz was donating
£10 to the Springbok Hospital.
