The lecturer pointed out that the first two L.}'.pes are not typically Jewish react- ions but that the last form repre ents the Lraditional Jewish reaction. He f~lt that we should seriously consider rfierti.ng to orthodox traditional Judaism not for any sentimental rea ons but olely ns a cure for the state of mind of the modern Jew.
