An Act to further amend

The District Councils Act, 1876."

HEREAS

it is desirable to amend " The District Councils Act, Preamble.

1876"-BA it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, with thc advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows :

with respect to the election of councillors ; and every person so elected shall hold office until the time a t which the councillor in room of whom he was chosen would regularly have gone out of office, when he shall go out of ofice, but be eligible for re-election.

At the first meeting of the District Council after the appoint-
