Karakterisasi Molekuler Pada Serangga Elaeidobius kamerunicus Faust. (Coleoptera; Curculionidae) Asal Sumatera Utara Menggunakan Metode Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism (AFLP).

Insect Molecular characterizationElaeidobius kamerunicus Faust. (Coleoptera; Curculionidae) Origin North Sumatra
Method Using Amplified Fragment Length Polymorphism (AFLP). Supervised by
DARMA BAKTI and SUZANNA FITRIANY SITEPU.
Elaeidobius kamerunicus insect originated in Africa and was introduced to
Indonesia in Palm Research Center, Marihat. The change of gene
Elaeidobius kamerunicus be one of the factors that reduce the production of palm oil
in North Sumatra. This study aims to determine the genetic diversity of Elaeidobius
kamerunicus based molecular analysis techniques amplified fragment length
polimorphysm (AFLP) using three primers. Analysis of variance using the program MEGA version 6. The phylogenetic tree constructed by means of 'Neighbor-Joining Tree'. Amplification product amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) of the 42 samples of genomic Elaeidobius kamerunicus and 3 samples of Sitophilus
oryzae genome as a control showed a high diversity. The analysis showed that Elaeidobius kamerunicus genetically can be grouped into two major groups, and to
the genome of Sitophilus oryzae form one large group. A group consisting of
Elaeidobius kamerunicus contained in several districts in North Sumatra, while
group B consists of Sitophilus oryzae contained in Medan.
