Penelitia n ini merupa ka n penelitia n tindakan kela s (PTK) dengan subjek penelitia n kelas VIII ya ng berjumla h 20 ora ng. Intrumen penelitia n ya ng diguna ka n a da la h lemba r observa si siswa , lemba r quisioner da n tes tertulis, ya ng kemudia n dianalisis. Ha sil penelitia n menunjukka n 81% siswa a ktif da la m kegia ta n diskusi da n 85% siswa suda h mencapai tingkat ketuntasan bela jar. Dengan demikia n model pembelajaran koopera tif tipe Numbered Snowba ll Throwing da pa t diimplementa sika n seba g a i stra tegi pembela ja ra n dikela s.

Abstract - This study is expected to be a reference to the teacher in ma king lesson plan with coopera tive
lea rning model tha t can be used a s a n eva lua tion tool in improving the effectiveness a nd efficiency of lea rning tha t will increa se student motiva tion a nd student involvement in the lea rning effect on the a ctivity a nd student lea rning outcomes. This research is a cla ss a ction with research subjects is cla ss VIII with tota ling 20 people. Instruments used in this resea rch is student observa tion sheet, sheet questionna ires a nd written test, then a na lyzed. The results showed 81% of students a ctively in the discussions a nd 85% of the students ha ve rea ched the level of ma stery lea rning. Thus coopera tive lea rning model Numbered Snowball Throwing ca n be implemented a s a strategy of learning in the cla ss.
