Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemanfaatan tepung ampas kelapa (Cocos nucifera L.) fermentasi terhadap performans kelinci rex jantan lepas sapih. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Rukun Farm Berastagi, pada bulan Juli-September 2016. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan selanjutnya dianalisis dengan pembanding ortogonal kontras. Penelitian ini menggunakan 24 ekor kelinci Rex jantan lepas sapih dengan rataan bobot badan awal1012,14±126,67 g. Perlakuan terdiridari ransum dengan tepung ampas kelapa tanpa fermentasi (P0A = 10%; P0B = 20%), ransum dengan tepung ampas kelapa fermentasi Aspergillusniger (P1 = 10%; P2 = 20%), ransum dengan tepung ampaskelapafermentasiRagi Tape (P3 = 10%; P4 = 20%).
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan fermentasi lebih baik daripada perlakuan tanpa fermentasi dan perlakuan fermentasi dengan ragi tape lebih baik daripada perlakuan dengan fermentasi Aspergillusniger. Level pemberian 10% lebih baik dibandingkan 20% terhadap konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan dan konversi ransum. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan tepung ampas kelapa fermentas idengan ragi tape dapat meningkatkan konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan dan menurunkan konversi ransum pada level 10%.

research was conducted atRukun Farm Berastagi from July to September 2016. The research used completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications futher analyzed by orthogonal contrast. The experiment used 24 Rex rabbit male weaning with initial body1012,14±126,67 g. The treatments consisted of Cocosnucifera L. pulp without fermentation(P0A = 10%; P0B = 20%), Cocos
nucifera L.pulpfermented byAspergillusniger(P1 = 10%; P2 = 20%),
Cocosnucifera L.pulpfermented by tapai yeast (P3 = 10%; P4 = 20%).
The result showed that the treatment with fermentation were better than non fermented and the treatment with tapai yeast fermentation were better than fermented by Aspergillus niger. Level 10% were better than 20% on feed intake
(g/head/day), body weight gain (g/head/day) and feed convertion ratio. The
conclusion of this research that the utilization of fermented Cocos nucifera L. pulp with tapai yeast can increase feed intake, body weight gain and reduce feed convertion ratio at the level 10%.
