dibimbing oleh ibu Feliza Zubair Dra,M.Si.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penyusunan tugas akhir ini adalah metode
deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi di
lapangan, dan studi literatur baik dari buku maupun sumber lainnya seperti arsip
dan dokumen yang berhubungan dengan laporan ini.
Tujuan penulisan ini adalah mengetahui proses
Public Relations
dalam kegiatan
penyelenggaraan ulangtahun karyawan yang diselenggarakan di Hotel Horison
Bandung seperti tahap pengumpulan fakta, perencanaan dan pemograman, Aksi
dan Komunikasi, dan evaluasi.

ABSTRACT

Communication Studies, University of Padjajaran, Bandung, has completed final
report entitled

Hotel Horison Bandung”, guided by Feliza Zubair Dra., M.Si.
The method used in the preparation of this thesis is descriptive method. The data
was collected by conducting interview, direct observation, and the study of
literature either from books or other sources such as archives and documents
related to this report.
The purpose of this paper is to recognize the process of Public Relations in
“Organizing Employees’ Birthday” held at Hotel Horison Bandung.
Like Fact
finding, Plannning and programing, Communicating and Action, and then
Evaluation.
The results of this observation show that the
Employees' birthday activities are
organized with the events that have been arranged formerly, Birthday of
employees use the Process of Public Relations. The first is facts finding, directing
observation to the objects of employees' daily attitude through the meeting
"Gathering Employees" led by General Manager and attended by all employees
discussing the performance of each employee. The second is planning an
programing , taken from the fact that was obtained previously and then planning
an employee relation activities with a program "the employee's birthday". The
third is communicating and action is implementing the activities communicated
through invitation, bulletin board, greeting card, opening speech, gift-giving, or
providing input on marketing strategies. Barriers that happens is the lack of
funds. The event of employees' birthday is conducted to establish harmonious
relationship among employees, to give awards to employees, and to show that the
company cares about the employees.
Evaluation is conducted when the event is
over and after the show is done. The Senior Public Relations conducts a meeting
