The Inaugural Conference of the United States Society for
Ecological Economics
USSEE
July 11th – 13th, 2001 Duluth, Minnesota
The USSEE is the most recent Regional Chapter of the International Society for Ecological Economics (ISEE). Ecological Economics is an interdisciplinary field of study aimed at the design and implementa-tion of socially and ecologically sustainable economic development. Conference themes will be the social and ecological dimensions of a sustainable and just global economy. This event will showcase the work of over 200 ecological economists representing academia, government agencies, non-profits and the
business community.

David Korten, Neva Goodwin, Hilary French, James Boyce, and Richard Norgaard.
Presentation abstracts are due by May 1st, 2001. Organizational display tables are also available at no
additional cost for any interested registered participant. Registration $150, $60 for students and non-profits.
